It's been about 13 years since we visited this pub and its welcome hasn't changed. Friendly staff and landlord make the visit a pleasant experience. Didn't eat there this time around but thoroughly enjoyed a lunchtime drink here following a long walk.

We booked an early evening meal, as it was my husband's birthday. We hadn't been there before, so thought we'd give it a try. The menu is good, plenty of choice. Reasonably priced. There was also a lower cost for some sweets, if you had a half serving, which suited us, as you don't really need a large sweet, after a meal.... read full comment
