“Stayed at the Dower house, much be for the 12 time and once again perfect, room always good, service great makes you feel like you’re part of the family, will be back very soon. Just one point fix the lift after 18 holes of golf the knees want a rest, but overall awesome, My kind of place. Thanks to all the staff Pete & Danusia”

“Historic and quirky hotel seeped with Military history.Beautifully kept gardens and stunning views.Visited this hotel for a friend's wedding, and it was just lovely.As expected bar prices were high. The food for the wedding was lovely, and breakfast service was excellent.Bedroom was cosy, but had all that was required, floorboards very creaky.Water pressure was surprisingly good for such an old building, big fluffy towels and shampoo, shower gel provided.Next visit needs more time to explore, plus it is very dog friendly here.”

“We (a load of golf friends) were staying here. The food is great and plentiful, the rooms are clean and fresh, parking is fine and the staff are the greatest asset. Josh and Connor were particularly friendly and polite at all times. Even the night porter (I think his name was Aiden) was very helpful, we will be returning.”

“One night stay with my partners whilst on a short trip. Hotel room was clean, but the bathroom plumbing clearly needs upgrading. Bed was reasonably small for three people, and there were only three plug sockets! Nonetheless, the hotel is rather pretty as are the grounds. Unfortunately, we had to checkout before breakfast but the dining area looked lovely.”
