“Attended a wedding. Food was great. Rooms lovely and clean but let down by the chairs having padding coming through the upholstery. Staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely wedding venue.Nearby activities: Lots to see locally and close to all amenities.Walkability: Easy 5 minute walk to local shops, eateries, pub, etc.”

“I live here, gets very busy on the 40's weekend, very popular. Very good place to have a wander around and you are able to get food and drinks, also a variety of shops to visit, a nice day out. All around a nice place to have a walk around. Plenty to do and see.”

“Been going for lunch occasionally for over 30 years I have always enjoyed it however yesterday was disappointing very little staff doing the best they could and food disappointing given a 5 star ? because I bad day in 30 years is acceptable”

“Great friendly staff, had a brilliant meal of fish and chips on the 'pub' side while playing pool with some friends - we all stayed overnight and can't complain at all, good breakfast served by friendly staff again. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The whole area is lovely too, well worth a visit.”

“One night stay with my partners whilst on a short trip. Hotel room was clean, but the bathroom plumbing clearly needs upgrading. Bed was reasonably small for three people, and there were only three plug sockets! Nonetheless, the hotel is rather pretty as are the grounds. Unfortunately, we had to checkout before breakfast but the dining area looked lovely.”
