Evening visit in the bar so we could bring the dogs. Lovely meals. We enjoyed the steak , salmon, battered haddock and the steak pie options. The service was quick and attentive as usual. Happy to bring friends or family here for nice food in a relaxed atmosphere.

I think this pub maybe under new management. We came on Friday for some lunch and for kids to have a play. Food was lovely. Kids loved playing and the girls behind the bar was ever so friendly. They spoke to both our kids and even fussed our dog. They seem like a really nice bunch of girls. We shall be returning in a few weeks

We stopped here for lunch on our motorcycle trip to Harrogate.
The food was excellent (Tiger prawns) and we were served by two charming young ladies.
Highly recommend!

During our stay out at Woodhall Spa, we came across this beautiful village pub down the road from our camp site.
In Kirkby on Bain. Very friendly staff, quick service and oh the food did not disappoint at all. 10/10.
Great service from the bar maid, kindly replaced my pint after a wasp had decided to land inside my drink lol.
We will definitely be returning in the near future that?s for sure.

Visited for the first time and will definitely come back.
Found an absolute gem of a quintessential, 17th century, village pub.
Beams abound, a plethora of drinks to choose from and a warm hubbub from 3 generations of family, happily spending time together with their dogs at their feet, tucking into hearty fare made on the premises.
We were so content we didn't want to leave but we found a campsite next door so we've booked to come back for a long weekend...I nearly didn't share this wonderful discovery in case too many people started coming!!
