We were served the best Sunday roast we?ve ever had today! Came with all the trimmings you could imagine and the meat was delicious. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Had a fabulous meal with mum yesterday first time she had been. I had veggie lasagne which was delicious and mum had fish and chips which she loved. Totally recommend this lovely pub staff were so nice and helpful and food cooked to perfection xx

Just had Sunday lunch and have to say it wasn't very good at all my hubby's actually nearly choked on the beef and the pork wasn't any better. Also the customer service was rubbish too. Won't be going again a waste of 40pound

We went in on sunday 1st june 2025 for sunday roast after about a year and what a difference to the food everything was hot fresh and plentiful , we were seated fast food come out on time and was delicious the roast potatoes were to die for cauliflower cheese was spot on only negative is no background music, well done butcher and beast

Friendly little pub. Paninis on the lunch time menu are really nice and the triple cooked chips are excellent. Portion sizes are very generous. The beer garden is lovely and backs onto the back, really nice spot to chill out, dog friendly also so will definitely be back soon

We went for a drink on Saturday afternoon but decided to have dinner. The staff got us in at short notice and were excellent. We ordered the steak and it was fantastic. One of the party ordered the Zanzibar curry and that too was excellent. A great village pub, great staff and great food. I would highly recommend it

Just enjoyed an early dinner at the Butcher & Beast. The food was wonderful - beautifully prepared and tasted amazing. My husband?s sweet potato dahl was in his words ?loaded and full of flavour? and there were clear plates all round. We had such great service too - welcoming and relaxed and we appreciated the recommendations they made. Will definitely be back!
