This is a new 'try' and I was impressed, because it was much, much better than I expected. I don't usually give full five stars until I have visited at least twice, but by judging everything and hearing more people's opinions, it seems to be a very good (and well cared for), restaurant!The prices are perhaps a little more than some, but it certainly shows in the quality of the food served here!Vegetarian options: There were a good handful of vegetarian options.... Some sounded quite plain, but they were beautifully made, full of flavour, and nicely presented. Even the garlic ciabatta bread that one of us had with the pumpkin and sage pasta parcels was done perfectly!

I have to say this is a delightful place and a real treat. All the food was lovely and beautifully presented. Service was excellent and we were made very welcome, including the dogs, allowed outside. A nice touch, the mini hand towels in the ladies.

Took parents for weekend away and booked for afternoon cream tea at the restaurant. Contacted Sharon via email who was extremely helpful with the particulars of the menu. Arrived and fitted us in early as had elderly parents with mobility problems and our dog. Arranged a fantastic table outside in the sunshine for us with the most attentive service. Friendly and welcoming and the food was superb the best homemade Scones ever tasted. Price was very reasonable for the quality and service. We all had a wonderful afternoon and will definitely be back - thank you Sharon

Had a Sunday roast turkey dinner here while on holiday in Skegness, and it was one of the best roasts I've had for a long time. Definitely would go here again.

Beautiful setting, food and service exceptional first time we have been and will be going again next time we go to the Lincolnshire coast. Fantastic steak and fish, lovely atmosphere and service thank you for looking after us.

We came on Wednesday 16th August for a family birthday meal and we absolutely loved it , we couldn?t fault it the food and service was fantastic such an amazing restaurant we struggled to get a taxi back and the lovely manageress even drove us back which we was so touched

What a truly fantastic find and experience. Visited last night for a 3 course meal with my wife and 6 Yr old daughter. My daughter has a severe milk allergy and the staff couldn't be more accommodating, checking each item with the chef to make sure dairy free was an option. I've dined at 5 star restaurants in London, Los Angeles and San Francisco that weren't a patch on this place. The food was absolutely perfect only rivaled by the service. Lovely ambient setting. I've never seen my child so chilled. I didn't just leave feeling belly satisfied I also felt calm and relaxed. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back for more. Fantastic menu and the homemade pie was the best pie I've ever eaten. Everything tastes super fresh! Thankyou ever so much. What a great team and experience! You guys have nailed it?

Staying 25 minutes away on holiday, I found this place on TripAdvisor. Rang and booked a table that was worth the trip! Friendly staff. Fresh cool water on our table in a bottle with complimentary bread rolls. A good choice on the menu . Kids had chicken goujons, hubby Moroccan lamb , and myself pie of day(steak & ale) Offered more drinks when they got low. Food was fresh and all hot We couldn't resist the deserts! which is shown to you on a dessert board beforehand - nice touch . Relaxed Atmosphere, clean and well organised staff great to find definitely worth a visit ?

We booked a last-minute getaway to Burgh Le Marsh to celebrate my wife's Birthday, accompanied by our two dogs. Walking around the village and after a pub lunch just off the market square, we came across the Windmill Restaurant that is located opposite co-op on the High Street. The restaurant was closed at the time and the menu looked just up our street. Unfortunately, with two dogs in tow, options can be more limiting but to our surprise and delight the Windmill Restaurant offered a delivery service. Without haste, we called the telephone number mid-afternoon, ordered our menu via the delightful Sharon, and she confirmed that our meal would be delivered to our accomdation that day in the early evening. The surprises did not stop, as the hot food was delivered on crockery, wrapped in foil and in a heat-retaining polystyrene thermal box. The cold options, our starters, mains accompanying Caesar salads (in beautiful glass bowls with lids) and a wonderful homemade cheesecake sat atop the box. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the garlic prawns were delicious and the accompanying fried potatoes (very posh chips) were the best. The only thing asked of us was to return the crockery the next day, and we of course obliged after washing. We cannot recommend the Windmill Restaurant enough, both for an excellent meal and perfect service. Well done to Sharon and this family-owned establishment, great job, keep up the good work and 5 stars all round. If you are staying in the area, you won't regret trying out the Windmill Restaurant in Burgh Le Marsh. We certainly won't hesitate in returning, should we be in the area again.

We found this place last minute after some poor planning on our part for my dad?s birthday. I have to say I am very glad that we did find it. From the moment we walked in we knew we was onto a winner. The staff were excellent and created a very warm welcoming. The drinks were excellent and the cocktails were amazing.The food we ordered was beyond amazing and all of it was very nice. We also had 3 kids with us and the food for them was also so far above what you would normally expect for a kids menu. It was all so fresh and well cooked that it cannot be faulted.Highly recommend and will hopefully be visiting again next year.

Good food. Unusual you have to order side mushrooms if you like them with a steak. Only 1 choice of draught lager and dear at 6.50p a pint. Free water on the table.

The whole experience was lovely, calm and clean environment, lots of room between tables. Staff polite and efficient and the food absolutely perfect. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
