AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, menu is a complete fraud of miller and carter for sure a violation of intellectual property. I ordered a 15oz rib eye and received a leathery 7/8oz sirloin steak, service was absolutely horrific and will not be visiting again, after raising my grievance with a server I was completely ignored and no communication or solution was given, after this had to wait 25 minutes to pay after we got the bill was made to pay in FULL by another server who completely ignored my grievance again, only after complaining AGAIN to the manager after I had paid was i rebated 10% of my bill and told they were AWARE of their menu incorrectly stating a 15oz ribeye instead of a 8oz one, yet still let me buy a product they knowingly don?t sell, NOT happy and will NOT be visiting again, especially for a birthday.

Highly recommend. Great service. Great food. The lamb shank was so succulent just dropped off the bone. My wife had pizza ? she said it was fantastic. Good selection of drinks. Booked again to go for Sunday roast. Can't wait!

Really nice food with generous portions. The staff were really pleasant. A little expensive but left feeling it was worth it and will definitely go again.

We loved it so much we went two nights in a row! The food at The Lakes Restaurant is absolutely beautiful ? full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, and a special mention to the lovely Italian waiter who made us feel right at home both nights. Service was spot on, the atmosphere was relaxed, and honestly, we?d travel back just to eat here again.

I love this place and the food is always nice. But I have noticed it's getting really grubby inside and it's even worse outside. Everything could do with a good clean and the decor could do with freshening up.

We came last night. I had the mussels followed by steak. Not a single fault. 10/10. So good we came back today for Sunday lunch. It's rightly busy. Looking forward to this.

We both had the steak meal. It came with the worst cheapest fries instead of chips. Same with the onion rings. Plus watery sauce. Supposed to be an Italian restaurant, thought we'd get a better set out meal. Not good. Best steak meal we've had in Skegness is tarantinos.

On holiday, not staying far from the restaurant, decided to have our 25th wedding anniversary meal at The Lakes Restaurant. Another great decision picking this restaurant as I made picking my wife.
Superb food, attentive staff & great location. If down this way on holiday again, will definitely be having another meal here.

We visit the lakes a lot as it is one of our favourite places to eat. The food is always incredible and the staff are so friendly. We have never had a bad meal here and always look forward to visiting??
