Fantastic pub to be in - very welcoming and they serve real ale at a sensible price, I was there with the BSA Owners motorcycle Club and I'll go back there again without any doubt at all.

I was here just for one night for work, but wish i could stayed longer! Great pub with good vibes and good food! I loved shaun the sheepdog! And the breakfast was the best breakfast ever! Also all personel were great to! Very friendly and keen for a chat. Also loved the place and the location! Felt like a short holiday.

Recently stayed with Rob and Dean to attend my sisters funeral. Right from check in they couldn?t have been more kind and helpful . They could not have looked after us any better. Accommodating our vague meal times and appetites owing to the occasion and nothing was too much trouble . The food was lovely and portions very generous. The breakfast was amazing and the best we have had anywhere We were there for 2 nights the room we had was wonderful. The mattress the most comfortable I have ever slept on . It was quiet and exactly what we needed . The services in the room replenished immediately after request generously.
I cannot fault the guys or their establishment and look forward to visiting them again happier times .
Rooms: Furnishings carpet all brand new . Incredibly comfortable and warm . Lots of coffee tea etc

The room was great. The food was great. Rob was great, hospitable and helpful. No regrets booking this two night stopover for the nearby Wooton Hall, Wedding locatiin. Thank you

Safety: We felt perfectly safe here

Lovely village pub, stayed overnight as a guest of the Landlords.Rooms: My room, 6, was ground floor. Had a double bed and a single (very comfy). Very large ensuite. Plenty of storage. Tea and coffee making facilities.

Set in a quiet location not too far from anywhere.Lovely greeting and got checked in. Shown to my room which was very comfortable with the usual things. Guide, TV kettle biccies coffee machine. Nice ensuite with shower, heated towel rail etc.The pub/ restaurant was cosy with a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. The menu was varied with a good selection of dishes.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very good food, real ales are kept properly, can taste the difference. Shaun the dog is brilliant :)
