Went here for first time on Sunday, with friends. Had the lamb Sunday roast, it was absolutely delicious. Meal cooked to perfection and no sign of fat, generous helping too. A variety of vegetables, again cooked to perfection, plus various sauces and gravy at your request. I thought the price paid was very competitive especially for such quality. I'll definitely be back!

Called for lunch yesterday. Polite, helpful service and lovely Staff. Nice restaurant area in the conservatory. The food was delightful and delicious. Great portions nicely presented and well cooked. Couldn't fault anything. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

We had eaten here once before on recommendation the meal and portions were excellent. We had the Sunday roast on this occasion, which was was fresh vegetables, Lamb was on the menu, which was pleasant change to the carverys, good portion too ( not your thin slices). Red Cherry Crumble for dessert, Superb. Service was excellent from all the staff.

Called in yesterday on way home from Lincolnshire. We both had the steak pie. It was amazing best we have had.after we Finnished we were asked if we could manage a dessert, any other time we would but honestly we had no room for one after our meal .Will definitely call again when in the area .highly recommended .

Popped in for a quick/light lunch. Wow! We had a baguette each, 2 proper sausages in mine, loads tuna in my wife's one. Nicely presented with a small salad {edible vs just decoration} and some crisps...at £9 each I thought that was great value for the quality. Service with a smile.... If we lived nearer we'd be going back regularly!

Waiting staff were bubbly, friendly and eager to make our experience as wonderful as possible- nothing was too much trouble especially seeing as we were a last minute booking at peak time! The pub is set in beautiful surroundings, has a lovely country feel to it and the food (a beef Sunday lunch) was wonderful. Will visit again, thank you so much
