Went looking forward nice local pub for a pint and stumbled upon this charming local. Sat outside in the sunshine in this quiet little village. Very charming. Friendly service and no doubt will go back again for a drink.

Cosy country pub. Quiet, it being a weekday. But very pleasant. Nice for a drive out to & a drink.
Next time will try food.

Absolutely incredible.
First time, won't be the last time.
The food was delicious! Freshly cooked, proper chips, buffalo wings, soup was spot on!!
We seemed to wait a while, but it was absolutely worth it.
Prices were great too!
The 2 staff members behind the bar today (3/11/24 @12) were very friendly.
Will definitely be back.
Would highly recommend

First time for Sunday lunch and it was very nice, plenty of vegetables, beef was slightly red, (which I personally like) but there was also chicken and lamb if red beef is not to your liking, service by the young waitress was great and she was a credit to them, highly recommended.

1st visit to The Cross Keys today, Sept'24. Popped in for Sunday lunch whilst visiting local preservation railway.
My wife and I both had chicken with roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, peas, pickled cabbage, Yorkshire pudding, and the delicious cheesy leeks. The food was very tasty and piping hot. We followed with chocolate fudge cake and custard. This was equally delicious.
Our table service was excellent and attentive. Lovely friendly and chatty staff. We did not wait long for our food to arrive. A cosy environment.
Dedicated car park and a dog friendly location.
Recommend you visit if in the area. There was no pre-booking required.

Popped in for a pint after a walk with a big group of people. Barmaid was very good and not flustered at all.
