I'm very disappointed with my experience, the staff were very focused on the people that came in after us, waiting nearly an hour for food then had the nerve to bring out food that is nothing like what you expect. Had to send back a so called lasagna which I know is not made pork meatballs and does not look like a ball of slop.under par for somewhere I've been to for years dissatisfaction.

This was a chance find for us as we passed through Lincolnshire in our motorhome on a long journey. Stopped at their very excellent caravan site for one night and ate meal at The Thatched Cottage. Five stars all round from us! The site and the restaurant are excellent. We had a first class evening meal, and the staff were super welcoming and absolutely an asset to the restaurant. Great find - such a shame we don?t live nearer!

Booked in for Sunday Lunch today a group of 6 with a small dog, so we were seated under the canopy outside, great area, sheltered from the wind and very comfortable
We all had 2 courses
The staff were amazing, quick service taking a drinks order, then very efficent taking the food orders.
The food was delivered to the table by 3 staff so all the food was warm and complete with extra gravy
The Sunday roasts were excellent, meat cooked to perfection and all hot
The waiting staff were a credit to this business

Lovely friendly people, great food and service.
We had the Sunday roast, and it was really good, I had Lamb, my wife had beef, we actually squeezed a pudding in, and we had bread and butter pudding with white chocolate and baileys with custard and ice cream, it was lovely.
The only criticism I have, and this is a personal choice, is the gravy could have been a tadge thicker.
Definitely will be returning.

We stopped in briefly to break up a three and a half hour drive so had no high expectations. However, between the beautiful thatched roof, quaint interior and delicious food it will be a place we will certainly be mentioning as a highlight of our trip. We all ordered the fish finger sandwich which had no right being as good as it was! Fresh country loaf bread, Tartar sauce that was super tangy and perfectly crisp and light battered fish. I was certain it was haddock too (which I would say is the superior of the large white fish) but I didn't have much time to mull on that as I slammed it down in record time. Staff were very friendly and helpful too bringing a real small village feel to it all. If I had stayed at the caravan park, I would be ecstatic to have such a high quality pub right on my doorstep. Will return if I have the chance!

Excellent relaxing camp-site. Spotlessly clean. Entertainment was a bonus on Saturday night. Restaurant is really good and service is second to none. Highly recommended place.

Staff lovely but service really slow . We were there for 2.5 hours for Sunday lunch! Yes we had three courses but waiting time was atrocious.

Went here for Sunday lunch. The roast beef was excellent. The place is quaint and service was excellent. We enjoyed everything tremendously. It was a little out of the way for us but definitely worth it. The place is kept well and run well. Everyone was very pleasant. If you have t been here, you must go. If you have been here, you must go back. I know we will.

Just had our first visit and cannot fault the service,value for money, atmosphere, delicious food.

A lovely little site and very quiet. Not sure about security on site as random people were walking into wood behind and coming out behind caravans and taking a short cut through site.
