Lovely staff member in this shop so helpful and always willing to find a solution to a problem. A star service is always given by the young man who is usually working on the shop.
The only issue that I had was that the store was blocked and out of sight by a very large market stall selling pasties cakes etc. This is a shame as I am sure there would be a lot of lost trade because of this for people who do not know the store excists.

Daughter?s car key was badly damaged & unable to use electronically. He replaced the casing & I was surprised & pleased to not have to pay for a whole new key to be reconfigured. Prompt & efficient, friendly service as always. Customer service as it used to be in the good old days - do what they say they will & with a smile ??. Thanks again!

George was extremely helpful and sorted out two old watches that I needed new batteries and straps for. Quick, efficient, friendly and fairly priced. Would absolutely use again.

Ruined a Hugo Boss watch!Had a battery change then the watch misted up and stopped working. When the watch was taken back they were saying it wasn't water proof. The watch is water proof and was fine before.

I placed an order for an engraved leaving gift brass plaque on the 17 Sep 22, paying for the item there and then. I went into the shop today, and enquired about the item, the person in the shop could not recall seeing such an item come into the shop. On checking the order sheet, found that the order had not even been sent out. I have now been left with the fact that I shall not have the described item to be added to the leaving gift and, will as such, not be able to present the gift at the time of the event in a weeks time. As I was advised it takes at least 10 days for the process. I would strongly advise anyone requiring such a service to give Timsons of Stamford a wide berth, as attention to detail appears to be non existent in this establishment.

Never ever get anything dry cleaned at this store. Or Timpsons in general especially if the item is sentimental, they have only been dry cleaning a few months and the lack of knowledge clearly shows, they send off items to a ?specialist? who then can ruin your garment and take no responsibility whatsoever even though it has been clearly proven the damage occurred while in their care, Timpsons then refuse liability as it is ?out of their control? what happens to your garment when being cleaned. Do not ever use this store whatever you do!! For a brand that states they employ friendly people, the staff are rude and couldn?t care less. Terrible experience, do not recommend to anyone!
