I ordered items in the sale and paid for them. This evening The White Company have said that due to an error on their website they cancelled the order. So, The White Company clearly believe that they?re above contract law and the Sale of Goods Act. A contract is entered into at the point of sale and the vendor is obliged to fulfil that contract at the price at which the goods were advertised. Clearly The White Company don?t think that the law or the Sale of Goods Act applies to them. Dreadful and shoddy service?,in fact, non-existent and downright dishonest service!

I purchased a large pink hooded towel for my baby in March getting organised for her due date in July. The towel has been used 3/4 times since her birth 2 weeks ago and after being washed after each use the edging had become loose creating a small hole about an inch big. I took the towel back to the Stamford branch expecting an exchange but was only offered a 25% gift voucher as a gesture of good will as I hadn?t taken it back within 30 days of purchase. This was an item that hadn?t even been taken out of the packaging so I wouldn?t have known it would become faulty.
I ordered the towel along with another towel and baby clothes because the products are usually of such a high quality. I?ve also purchased baby blankets and soft toys and am awaiting another online delivery but would now be reluctant to purchase anything else in the future

Having spent over £850 and several items ?on display? as not in store or stock, required cleaning, I ask for a small discount, a very small token of good will, the young girl agreed discount, however once home, there had been NO discount applied, upon calling the Stamford store, the young girl, ?manager? insisted on disagreeing and very argumentative. Which upon I ended the call. I shall be returning all said items, as the quality certainly does not reflect the inflated pricing.

Really disappointed in nightie that ?pilled? after half a dozen washes but they will not refund because it is over 30 days! Appalling service as this item it obviously not good enough quality.
