Simply the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. So fresh and great portions. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is served up quickly. The batter on the fish is consistently perfect... not too overdone, not too soft. The Goldie Locks of Fish and Chip Restaurants. Please believe me when I say you won't be disappointed.
Parking: Sometimes it's difficult to find a parking space, even for disabled spots, but never not managed to get in in the end. This is Stamford, so it's what you expect. Normally get there just before lunchtime (off peak) to beat the crowds.
Kid-friendliness: I don't have kids, but seen plenty of families eat at the restaurant, and they seem to be enjoying the atmosphere and food!

Stamford is a town blessed with a plethora of choices for a bite to eat. We fancied fish & chips and saw this place by the river.The food is good and they have a sit down restaurant area which is nice.If you're in the area and looking for fish & chips this is definitely worth a shout.

The best fish and chips I've tried in Stamford. Don't bother with other things because pies and chicken aren't perfect, but battered fish is absolutely amazing. Crispy chips too. Marginally better than the other fish and chips in Stamford. The service is humble and simple. But it looks like the establishment needs a coat of paint here and there.

We were looking for easy food and Google saved us on a rainy Monday night and food was great. Amazing fish (chunky) and great chips. Our favourite cocktail bar, the sliding door is just around the corner, as is the weatherspoons if you prefer. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Took my parents here for dinner. All the food was really well cooked, and especially enjoyed the crispy batter when in so many other places it's greasy.

Sat outside the chippy in a designated outside eating area ....there was absolutely nobody out there when some girl employee part time bouncer insisted we move as we had bought takeaway food ...they take your money and move you on....I wouldn't have minded if it was busy and people needed the seats but once again they moved us on when it was empty.....should of stood my ground and let them call the policeVery very petty staff ....would not eat there again 0/10
