the staff are very friendly here and it's a nice restaurant, family owned. the food we had was only 'ok', but we will try it again in a few months. The chips were very average, think the frying oil needs changing. 2 of the burgers were good and 2 not so; the bbq burger was bland. will update this review when we have tried it again.

Had a lovely evening meal in their garden area which was really lovely, modern and cosy to eat in. The burgers were delicious and I also had cocktails which went down well. The waiter was very helpful and services was quick and slick. Definitely recommended.

Decided to go on an spontaneous date with my boyfriend and as we really wanted a burger we decided to call in and see if they have tables available. We managed to book a table on a Saturday night and was seated immediately on our arrival.
Food portions are huge especially the sides, fries in particular.
Cocktail was great with 2 for 12£ offer, I thoroughly enjoyed piña colada. Plus, the atmosphere was very lively, cocktail bar atmosphere with great music and vibe, perfect for a Saturday night.
Staff were very attentive and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything or asking about how the food is. Also, we didn?t manage to finish our meals, having ordered the signature burger they have, we ended up asking to take the rest of the food home. The staff was happy to wrap up the meals for us to take away.

Would never return to this place. Went in last night, wasn?t allowed to order without a table number so we went and found a table, and then when we did order, 4 of us were drinking and 1 was having water. Because our friend who was driving, didn?t want to drink, and we were refused service and asked to leave because the one lad drinking water. Staff were shockingly rude. Disgusting

No.1 Kitchen is my regular haunt. If friends visit, I always take them here. Cocktails? Here. Food? Here. The service is exceptional. The portions are gargantuan. The food is impeccable. The ladies who serve are 10/10. I'm relocating to a city soon, but I KNOW I will be back to visit.

I recently visited No1 Kitchen and tried their sides, which are available 3 for £19 or 5 for £30. The food was lovely and perfectly complemented our drinks and cocktails. Speaking of cocktails, they have a great deal of 2 for £12/£14. The staff were very polite and chatty, making us feel truly welcome. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!
Parking: You can park near by Meadows but it can be difficult to find a space.
Kid-friendliness: No kids option.
Wheelchair accessibility: Could be tricky to get there on a wheelchair but it's possible.

Sunday 2pm booking, welcomed at the door, smiley faces, shown to table on balcony, ordered food and drinks, all food cooked fresh, served in 30mins, party of 5 + a 1 Yr old and a dog, every one of us enjoyed the food, lovely ambiance and relaxed atmosphere and very reasonably priced, will deffo make a return here, thank you ?

Great place fantastic service and food, only downside are the portions are too big so remember don't over order on the sides, definitely recommend and will certainly be coming back sometime

I very leave reviews but I had such amazing service and food I just had to say it. I was treated to a meal here for my birthday. The food we had was incredible, the service from Aimee was second to none and the bunless lamb burger was the best! I tried abit of the blue cheese sauce too and I drank the jug of it... well most of it. Thanks for a great meal!
