“I absolutely love my purchases from That Rebel House - my worst kept secret as I tell everyone who admires my beautiful silk ikat lampshades and Equus star bedspread. Wonderful original patterns in beautiful vibrant colours, it makes all the difference having some finishing touches that aren't identifiable to everyone. Sarah is also hugely helpful in customising, advising and quoting for bespoke pieces. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves a bit of colour in their home.”

“Can't believe I didn't know they were here before. Really helpful and knowledgeable and a vast range of paints and wallpaper to choose from. Many brands available, plus they can order in what they don't have. Best feature is that they have wooden panels that have been painted with paints like Farrow & Ball and Little Greene so you can really see what they look like inside and outside before you buy.”

“Poundstretcher, Stamford is a great store with lots of bargains. The Stamford branch were great for gardening and DIY products during the lockdown. Still using this excellent store as it is often cheaper than many supermarkets in the area. There have been plenty of Christmas decorations this year (2023). Hope they keep going.”

“Decent branch, sizeable and good range of products with plenty of parking. The staff are friendly, mostly attentive and eager to help and serve (not so much for supervisors and the odd ataff member). The shop floor staff will quickly let you be to browse until you need their assistance - which I like. Somenof the counter staff need to learn to engage with eye contact... I went in to collect ab online purchase and one staff member went to retrieve my item, the other was talking with head set on and zero engagement with me, until I realised he wasn't talking to a customer on the phone it was me, but because he was looming 45 degrees away from me I had no way of knowing.”

“Browsing thrift stores is one of my favourite pastimes. One of the many charities in Stamford is the British Heart Foundation. Despite the fact that the items are old, cleanliness is still crucial. Thanks to the volunteers who gave their time to keep shops like these going.”

“This is an amazing shop with amazing staff!Nothing is too much trouble for all of them !You are left to look around at your own leisure without any pushy salesmen insight!!Such a relaxed atmosphere from the moment you walked through the door!!I think I must have visited the shop, to sit on our two new armchairs chairs, at least 20 times before we made up our minds wether to buy them, it is a big decision! Never once did I get the feeling they thought “oh here she comes again!”The after sales service is excellent! Any problems and the owners are out straight away to ensure things are immediately put right!! always keeping you fully what is happening.I cannot recommend this shop enough and I only wish customer service was as good from some other stores!A real credit to Stamford and just so happy to have discovered them!!”
