Great little country pub we stumbled upon after a walk at snipe dales, lovely atomosphere, very quaint and cute decor, gorgeous garden area, staff were friendly and welcoming, food was very nice, will visit again. Thank you!

Always a lovely, friendly place to visit. Cracking food, a great selection of drinks and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.A real hidden gem in the Lincolnshire Wolds. Lots for the kids to do in the play area too.

We were greeted with a warm welcome and we were made to feel like a regular. I ordered chicken and ribs and my wife ordered steak and ale pie. The kitchen is close by and the smells from the kitchen were Devine. It took a reasonable time to arrive, I dislike places where it?s on the table in 10mins, tells me it?s already cooked and reheated in a microwave, instead this place cooked fresh. The steak and ale pie was home made and the chicken breast and ribs were cooked to perfection , the chips were to die for. For desert I had salted caramel blonde cheesecake and my wife had Lemon tart. With the high praise I gave the main meals the deserts didn?t disappoint. Very well presented and tasted very nice.

Been a while since last visit and won't be as long again. Beautifully cooked Sunday carvery served with a smile. Attentive staff even though very busy. Puddings tasty and plentiful.

What a lovely little gem of a place. We have been visiting Spilsby to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life & had been struggling to find a place serving a decent vegan meal that wasn?t just pasta. After a less than friendly reception at a different pub, we stumbled across this fantastic place and were so glad we did! The gentleman behind the bar couldn?t have been friendlier. All 3 of the members of staff that we met were so lovely & nothing was too much to ask for. The chef cooked up a freshly baked, homemade vegan pie which was delicious! My fiance had the rump steak , with all the trimmings, which he said was divine & actually cooked the way he likes it. We left absolutely stuffed to the gills with delicious home cooked food & smiles on our faces from the lovely staff. We will be sure to visit again, should we find ourselves this way. You can?t get better than village pub grub!
