Very disappointing experience at Sports Direct in Springfield, Spalding.
I asked a young staff member for help getting a women?s fleece (size 10-12, black) from a high rail. Instead of assisting me, she handed me a hook and told me to do it myself. Completely unprofessional and unsafe ? customers should not be using store tools. When I expressed my shock, she scoffed and walked away. No apology, no manager available, no respect. This kind of service makes me not want to return!!!!

Asked for shoes in a different size, was rudely told ?I?m not on shoes, find someone else? by a member of staff in the shoe section. I put the shoes back and went next door instead. Won?t be shopping at sports direct again

I wanted some trainers that were waterproof, lightweight and good for trail walking. I had a brand in mind but they weren't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Kurt, the assistant manager, gave me some great advice based on my trainer spec and price point, and I made a purchase based on his recommendations. All in all, I experienced an excellent service and I'm delighted with my purchase. Thank you.

What has this Place Become? I remember the days when I could walk into this store get some assistance from a Supervisor and be out of there with a nice new pair of shoes in 10mins.
I went in there today I knew what I wanted I just need the chap to fetch my size, the guy that was helping was very busy so asked for assistance ( this is where I wish I left) some chap in Game uniform which I thought was odd came to help me, being polite I said ?sorry mate, I know your busy? he responds it?s ok I was just checking out the funky pops anyway, which I replied ?what are they? big big mistake he then went on for no word of a lie 30-35 minutes telling me about his Funky pops? dunno what they are don?t care they seem daft, ended up leaving the shoes the lad was giving me this burning sensation of rage inside of me I dread to think what I might have done if I stayed any longer.

Needed some easy slip no lace sport shoes.
Found straight away the store is laid out very well.
The two colleagues out on the floor were super friendly.
I asked one for a pair to try on,
the other colleague recommended she bring an additional size up too because they have a tendency to be a half or whole size bigger.
This was the case - that second colleague was sensible in her suggestion.
I asked for another pair too there was no negativity from her for going to get the other pair,
Great to see positive staff.
The lady at the checkout was really friendly too.
Genuinely a good positive experience from here,
Sports direct is my go to for good priced shoes and it will remain that way.

Found some nice comfortable clothes there, with a large selection to choose from. One downside is that the store can be a bit tight to get through and the fitting rooms are small

I needed a new pair of trainers and hoodie so while we were here I thought I?d see what they had. So I put a hoodie on, how does this look I ask the wife. Not bad, find a mirror. I looked here and there. No mirror anywhere. I carried on trying stuff on. I finally got near the tills and saw a mirror in the changing room. So I asked a member of staff if that was the only mirror in the shop. Yup! He casually said before returning to his conversation with another member of staff. No wonder the place was dead. I ended up getting a great pair of trainers in Skechers and a fantastic hoodie in jack wills. That?s the great thing about Springfields it?s has some super shops with nice prices.

I went to the till to purchase an item, but the lady told me that the sticker price was wrong and she wasn?t willing to honour the sticker price - it was only a couple of pounds difference. We then checked the other items, which also had the same sticker on them.Instead of apologising for the mistake, she then made the situation worse by blaming someone else for the mistake and said ?another customer must have done that!?For the sake of two pounds, the customer service and attitude of this member of staff was completely unacceptable and requires improvement.

Popped in to purchase a pair of Jogging bottoms with a ticket price of £19.99. On taking the items to the cashier she said its been labelled wrong at stores. This in itself isn't a huge issue.However,when it was suggested by my partner that we would pay the £19 she said no. I didn't want an argument with a queue of people and the Joggers were needed as my partners son had got wet at the pumpkin patch. The bit that really disappointed and shocked me was the behavior of the staff member. Who snatched the price ticket away and refused to allow us to take a picture.When my partner went to check the other Joggers, she radioed through to another staff member and literally chased her down the store. At the end of the day is £6 not the end of the world,its was the really unprofessional behaviour by the staff . I am really disappointed.

Wanted a pair of shoes from the back, there was no staff that could be seen on the shop floor so I took the one shoe to the cashier who was more interested in stocking the shelf behind her. I asked if there was someone who could get me the shoes, she said I'd have to find someone. I went and looked again and still couldn't find anyone. I went back to her and she literally screemed at me that there was someone that could help "down that isle" . She had no customers to serve and yet she didn't want to help me once. Awful customer service, will not be going in there if it can be avoided in future. SPORTS DIRECT - SORT YOUR STAFF OUT!

Giving 3 as normally the staff have been really friendly and helpful, chatty at the till as well. This afternoon definately wasnt the case. The young man on the till didnt respond to a simple hello, as i do whenever i go to a shop and get served. He was rude and didnt say a word apart from the price to me or the people ahead of me. I wish the young lady who is normally there when i go in was there as she is lovely
