Ordered cod and chips....absolute greased up and stuck to paper....the bottom half of the batter was glued to the paper. The chips were waxy and sweaty.
Also ordered plaice it tasted like seawater and dripping in grease.
Pickled onions went to the bin as it was dry and old.
The only best thing was the shandy.....this place has really gone down hill in the last few months. Definitely never ordering again from here....absolute waste of money...for what you pay these days for fish and chips I at least deserve abit of fish that's not dripping in oil and grease.

a great place for fish and chips you can pre-order via the interweb if you prefer order in the shop when you have ordered you get one of them dongle things which page you when it's ready

A great chippy. Mum & Dad come weekly. Dad loves the fish & Mum the chips, curry sauce & onion rings. Me chips & mushy peas.
All are cooked to order. The staff are really nice and helpful.

Just ordered a pineapple fritter and some chips. She said the fritter was ready but we had to wait for it in the order. Wide range of food available unlike Sheddys in town and not that expensive. You have to park on the side of the road and you get the choice whether to wait inside or outside with the technology they use, electronic bleeper. At Christmas they do battered mince pies and they do battered mars bars. Pity they don't open at dinner time.
