I was with my wife, we went to the Costa coffee shop in Springfield?s, While the wife went for a shop on her own, as I am unable to walk or stand too long, I said I will go grab a few coffees and wait for her to join me. When I got there the shop was very busy, and unfortunately I could not stand, and wait a long time, after not seeing a notice, or app to help me, I just decided to waited outside on a bench, as there was no apparent other way of me being able to otherwise order a coffee by a app. To my table of choice. When my wife, returned she got them in, I eventually got to speak with a kind guy in there, (staff), and pointed out my problem, he said they would order it if I was sat down, and managed to get their attention. Then yes they could be able to help me, to pay it at the table, now here is the problem, 1, I would have been seen to jump a long Que, 2, I would have to explain my disability to them to get the help. Now in this day, and age why can they not do what McDonalds do order and pay at the table. I did not like having the idea of explaining myself in public view, to ask they sell me a coffee at the table, and nor was it a good idea to ask they list the selection of other foods on sale, when a app could have covered it all. Yes, they have wheelchair access if you can open the double doors, as one is often locked in cold weather. The group do really need to rethink how they can allow folk worse than me to order a coffee in its chain of stores. No one should need in this time to say, ?Hay I?m not that good, I?m a Disabled customer can you assist me with my order at the table please?. More so when the shop is not fully kitted out to do this anyway.

It was very busy when we called in but the four staff behind the servery worked very hard to get the queue down. Delicious hot flat whites.

We called in for a quick drink and a cake each after shopping at Springfields and before travelling back to Cambridgeshire. We like the brand and know what to expect and they were all good. Good to see tables were being cleared and cleaned and premises were clean. (Some of their branches are slipping back to the pre-Covid cleaning standards came in and now they have been relaxed tables are left with dirty crockery and trays piling up and tables un-wiped.) Would have given a full five stars had assistance been offered to carry our tray to our table. My wife uses a walker and I use a walking stick. No offer forthcoming and selective deafness from staff when I asked for help so I had to manage it myself.

We just had coffees in this small cafe. There were about 4 girls serving but service was still quite slow. Tables weren?t very clean and there was a long queue for the toilets.

We arrived and the queue ended at the door. Despite obviously being busy, the we were soon being served by staff that were friendly and my request to change from dairy milk to soya just before being made was met with an agreeable smile! We were able to get a table with no problems. The lighting was perfectly fine and the drinks themselves were lovely!

Unfortunately I have been unable to sit inside the coffee shop for weeks and weeks now as the flickering lights are dangerous for me and can make me ill. I have asked staff about sorting out this simple maintenance issue so that I can sit inside instead of having to sit outside. I can only presume that they are happy to ignore this and will not arrange to have them replaced. With winter approaching it means that I will no longer be able to visit and it?ll be Starbucks for me instead. Appalling that they won?t sort this basic issue. Speaks volumes to me about the management.

I usually love Costa, but the constant flickering of at least five lights would make drinking inside an epileptic's nightmare...how much do bulbs cost these days?

Extremely slow service today. The lady in front of us picked up and put back 3 different bottles of drink and several different sandwiches, very off putting in current covid situation. Was disappointed to find only one vegan option in sandwich section.

Costa Coffee is Costa Coffee. Just staff could be quicker. Otherwise all good.

Very slow service, 3 staff on behind counter. Very rude and abrasive towards customers .. I walked out as wouldn?t put up with that level of service. P. Have been previously and never that bad but they seriously need to address staff attitude.

A great store in the centre of a retail complex. In door and out door seating. Staff are very friendly and helpful.\\nServing hot and cold food and drinks.\\nWorth a visit if you are in town.

Lovely as always. Had latte with oat milk. My favourite drink from Costa. Service was prompt and polite. No complaints.
