Today I was in the store Wygate Co-op and wasn't feeling to great really dizzy breathless and off balance too. I took my time going around the store because I do have invisible disabilities anyway. But today I had just taken the dig out before Poppin into the ship in my mobility scooter. Thought I was ok. But came over feeling all strange just as I entered the store. The staff are always really understanding they are kind and helped me with my bags to my scooter and let me have a Lucozade in the store to drink I paid. It helped me to continue but still off balance and dizzy. The lady at the til asked if I was ok and helped to pack my bags and bring out to my scooters. They really helped me today. I had to sit on my mobility scooter for a minute still even after just because my head was spinning. Drinking my Lucozade until it finally calmed down the spinning head of mine. The man again ask if I was ok while I was sitting resting on my scooter outside. Yes I told him I just need a minute.
Outstanding customer service your employees have. I want to tell them thank you for their kindness.

Very strange experience where the clerk refused to serve my mum alcohol because I was with her and didn't have id on me. For reference, I'm 27 and we were also with a 15 year old, a 5 year old and a 4 year old, but the issue was that my 50 year old mum couldn't make her purchase (which was supposed to be a 'thank you' gift for my family for hosting us for easter) because I was present. I see why it could look suspicious if there were two of us and I was poking around the wine bottles clearly underaged, but nothing was said about the children with us (including the 15 year old, which we mentioned!) and coincidentally I was the only brown person there... when we asked whether the clerk usually refused to serve alcohol/age prohibited items to people when they came in with their kids or families the clerk said nothing. I haven't experienced racism much before but when you're the only non-white person and you get singled out with no logic behind it, it's both surprising and disappointing. It's 2022..
