I was charged £23.53 for a nhs eye exam and i am 74 years old. Apart from the appointment with the optician everything else was rushed and the bill didnt even have my surname correct. I did not get the full eye test as one part could only be done upstairs and as a disabled person i would not manage the stairs. I have tried many times to call the opticians in spalding but nobody answers the phone.

Greeted when entering the store by pleasant, friendly staff. Made to feel respected and valued. Louise was absolutely brilliant and explained everything in detail so I could understand. Remembered me from previous appointment 4 years ago when she diagnosed a serious problem which has subsequently been rectified. Changed an appointment for my elderly mother so she could personally look after her. Staff very helpful with glasses choice but not pushy. Very relaxed pleasant experience.
