For the past two years we have used the Sleaford branch of Vision Express. Their administration is somewhat haphazard and we get many reminder letters throughout the year about our daughter requiring an eye test.On receipt of the most recent letter, my husband took it upon himself to go in-store to double check it was the correct date and scheduled an appointment for today (see photo attached).My daughter and I attended the shop today to be told that she didn?t have an appointment booked for today. There was no apology, despite me confirming that we had an appointment card. I was offered the opportunity to book another appointment for next weekend or a weekday. It was only after I explained we had booked today specifically due to my husbands shift patter and that I was disappointed we couldn?t be seen that an apology was made.I?ve been a Vision Express customer for over 20 years. Not only have they removed their USP of glasses being available same-day, but this store in particular seem incapable of providing a reliable service for both reminders and booked appointments. We won?t be returning.

Vision Express Opticians - SleafordRay HobbyPosting publiclyMy recent experience of eye examination and follow-up ordering, collecting and fitting of my new spectacles has been an excellent experience. The optometrist?s examination and assessment with Karundeep was thoroughly professional, confirming some [at present] minor concern for laser 'adjustment' in the future in my right eye following a cataract operation and anticipation of cataract correction in my left eye. As a 'rifleman' these are not 'passing observations', but important for me to have them to be noted.Amy Lee Adam and the branch manager combined and shared their expertise to ensure that my new spectacles were the best both w r t the frame choice and the lens required to meet my optical needs, both now and in the fore-see-able future.After 12 years or so confident association with my optician in Northampton, and having moved from Northampton to Sleaford, this was my first contact with Vision Express and, inevitably I was concerned. That concern has been totally removed, since the attention, in professional and personal terms has been excellent. At 76, I can feel my optical care is now confidently re-established with you in my new home - thank you.

The 2 ladies that work there are lovely. They make you feel welcome from the second you walk through the door. Helpful and knowledgeable, they provide support throughout the whole process.The examination was very pleasant, quick and efficient.Thank you. Hopefully, see you all again soon..

Optician was great but the girl who sorted out my new glasses did not feel me with confidence. Wasn't told about the offers. I collected 8 days later, to find they were the wrong frames. Didn't really get an apology. Waited a further 8 days for the correct pair & the lady this time was very abrupt. Didn't really check if they were ok. It was as though I was an inconvenience

This is one of the worst optician you could visit so please don't waste your time. I booked an appointment, on the day of the appointment after I had arrived and waited for almost 30 mins, I get told there is a "medical emergency" so the person who was to attend to me could not. I eventually got served without an appointment by specsavers.A month later, my husband booked an appointment, a day before the appointment, he got called to be told the same thing, 'medical emergency' so his appointment will e cancelled.I am never patronising you or even ever going to accommodate the thought.

I am happy with the glasses, but I specifically went there so I could get blue filter on my glasses. I asked for it several times, and when the order was complete, I said, "Does this include the blue screen?" The answer was yes. They were expensive, but I was happy, as I was getting what I wanted. But I didn't, because when they arrived, no blue filters. The manager and head office said they would swap them free initially, but then Manager told me "we can work out a cost between us, as the reactions price had gone up" which made no sense, as I had paid for reaction lenses, so if anything, that would mean they would owe me money if we changed to blue filters in that case. Anyway, not really satisfied with response, as the fact that the lenses I paid for did not include blue filters, but that wasn't explained either, even though I said several times I wanted blue filter. I feel it is only about the money, not about keeping customers happy. Sad, but I think I would have gone to specsaver had I known. Paid over £500 and didn't get what I asked for.

Terrible service. Would never use this place again. Two cancelled appointments. Insisted that I had to see one specific staff member just to try on a pair of 'safety' glasses. Didn't pay attention to the type of eye test required and appeared intent on selling me a new pair of varifocals, which wasnt what was requested. Wasnt informed that my glasses had arrived. All told it took over two months to receive my glasses and when they did arrive, the prescription wasn't really correct. Gave up in the end and went elsewhere. Go to Specsavers or Asda, they are much more efficient and professional.Filled out the (subsequently) requested Customer feedback form link. No response.

Had a really good experience with the service from Becky from this store. Ordered my glasses and they arrived within 3 days. Prescription was perfect and my new glasses look and feel much more comfortable and stylish! I was kept in touch with any updates on the order and delivery and I now have a perfect pair of new glasses. Thank you Becky! :)

Awful experience, have moved to spec savers, I am disabled in constant pain and was told my appointment was with a trainee, which was fine until I was kept there for nearly 3 hours used as a Guinea pig in a lot of pain, finally having to walk out before the examination was complete,I have 2 conditions which can lead to sight loss so this examination was extremely important and they were aware of that,I paid for the test and re booked with spec savers who were thorough and very understanding of my eye problems
