I very rarely visit this store as I don't live in the village, but nipped in on 14th Feb, and was surprised by how good it was. It had plenty of flowers for Valentines day (person I was with wanted some), and had lots of things in for Easter too. It had a good amount of magazines in too.

As with other reviews here had an eye infection yesterday and got denied for Chloramphenicol eye drops. Was asked to continue using the drops by GP while they test the issue for antibiotic resistance.
Got told my obviously red eyes don?t have an eye infection and told ?these are antibiotics?! We can?t just give them out!?.
It worries me people who lack such understanding are the ones handing out advice and medicine. It was only when leaving I realised my transition lenses were still dark too! Went straight to Asda who said ?oh that looks sore? and gave me what was required.
Would take the advice received here with a huge pinch of salt. Hysterical older staff are not the most objective.

Preparing medicine for unwell people impacts on chatting time. Lied about not receiving scripts from Drs. They hate refreshing their system as it gives them more work to do

Went in with obvious eye infection and asked for Chloramphenicol and got denied and told just use warm water by the pharmacist. 6 hours later and my eye is a complete mess and oozing gunk. You're told to try a pharmacy in the first instance but I literally got refused something that is suitable for a 2 year old.

Very nice helpful staff work at this pharmacy and it's in a good location. Not as busy as High Street pharmacies as handy for the Co Op store next to it.

Lady at counter lovely and helpful, but slow needs help at front desk, a couple rude sour faced persons behind counter, could benefit by smiling
