My partner purchased 6 scaffold boards yesterday with the purpose of building a desk which he mentioned to the memeber of staff who served him . When the boards arrived, they were soaking wet and mouldy so completely unusable. My partner called the store to explain the problem and although the member of staff on the phone tried his best to help, there was no solution and they wouldn?t even offer a partial refund for something which can?t even be used. I think this appalling customer service. Extremely poor quality control and customer service as they refused to take responsibility with the attitude of ?there is nothing we can do?. We are now £130 down with wood we cannot use. I would seriously think twice about using this company

Ordered a complete kitchen from Huws Gray Sleaford, costing 3x as it would have cost if I had bought it from a kitchens direct Company. We were advised at the time by Hyws Gray that oeople experienced issues from Direct Kitchen companies and could take a long time to put right, whereas by choosing them, everything should run smoothly! We experienced several missing or damaged parts, incompetent measuring by their stone suppliers for Silestone worktop ending up having to remove and replace the worktop 3 times. As for the Symphony kitchen unit manufacturers, their customer service is very poor especially when we had our joiners on site, finding damaged, missing parts and being told we could not have replacements for over a month. We started the project in March 2023 and we have today received a refund of defective parts, which we had to keep to avoid further stress and upheaval of having parts of the kitchen redone. None of the manufacturer's nor Huws Gray have offered any compensation for the upheaval, stress, and loss of enjoyment and use of our kitchen. The project was completed after 6 months, in Sept 23, which should have only taken 1 week to fit if all parts and appliances had been delivered in good order.
