We stayed on the 2/3/24 when we pulled up we thought oh my God but got inside upstairs was ok. ,although the room was lovely it was like a fridge radiator not working the lovely lad on the desk tried to sort it with another heater but unfortunately the room was too big for the heater given, bed was like concrete and anyone with arthritis will know this is not good tried the spare bed bottom bunk sat on it and slats fell out so no sleep had fare to say we won't stay againNearby activities: Loads of food places a few pubs and shops very quiet on the doorstepWalkability: Everything within distance

I?m always amazed by the service and quality of food here. We?ve dined here many times over the years and the choice and flavours are always so good! I?m vegan and the chef catered especially for me and created a new dish ? a delicious beetroot stew that I wish I had the recipe for to remake at home! ?

Called in at lunch time on a Friday for a drink or food but as nothing seemed to be open we walked out only to have the door slammed firmly shut behind us!

We arrived and the main pub was closed we didn't realise you could enter through the side door for the sports bar. Went up the stairs as directed but no one was at the reception to check us in so my husband had to pop to the sports bar. Young lady came straight up and checked us in. Room pleasant and nicely decorated but was absolutely freezing. We switched the heater on and went out for a few hours to a local pub to get warm. Arrived back room was still freezing, so much so I couldn't even take my coat off. Felt cold through to the bone so my husband popped down to see the young lady who had checked us in. She came up and got the heating working but said it turned off when you removed the key card, hence why the room was still cold after a few hours. We put a loyalty card in the slot and left the heater on and had to go out as it was uncomfortable as it was so cold. Came back 4.5hours later and the room was nice and warm the bathroom was still cold.I would have expected the rooms and corridors to be warm and welcoming, this really let it down as the rooms themselves are fine.

Booked this place as it advertised as hotel with restaurant and bar. After 5 hour drive on arrival. NO RESTAURANT. Bar and hotel closed at 8pm. More like.no worse than a youth hostel. Had to find other accommodation for the night. Asked for refund. Now they are ignoring me. County Court judgement coming their wayNearby activities: NothingSafety: Would not feel safe in areaFood & drinks: Nothing available

Went for Sunday carvery normally you help yourself but with this one the girl dishes out what you want. My husband only likes certain veg so asked for a bit more cauliflower cheese and she wouldn't give him a little more which I found bizarre! The food was lovely and hot and the meat was very nice and you got plenty. We had to queue for quite a bit as it was very busy need more people serving. Also the childs meal says suitable for 3 to 11 was served in a very small cereal bowl if I gave it to my 6 year old granddaughter she would of cried, for £6.95 I would of expected a smaller plate than the adults but not a bowl . We would return for the adults meal but wouldn't recommend if you have kids .

The pub was busy and very noisy on a sunny summer weekend, in the afternoon and early evening, but I couldn't hear a thing in the room. Also because people went back to the caravan parks for their entertainment in the evening I noticed that the pub closed at around 10. The rooms are new, so everything feels clean and works. I would consider it to be more functional than luxury. Convenient and free parking. The only issue was that my window was jammed so I couldn't get fresh air. I was going to ask the guy who checked me in to help, but he wasn't there when I returned to reception. There was a phone number on display if any problems but I didn't think it was important enough to get someone out for, and anyhow I needed to leave as I was meeting friends. No breakfast offered, but it is right in the centre of the village so there are a number of breakfast options within a couple of minutes walk. Comfortable clean and convenient, so I would recommend.

Good enough for that 1 night stay - depends though. Its above a pub so expect music up to midnight otherwise room and bed were okay.

We have just returned from a family mini break at The Vine Hotel. We had a great time! We enjoyed the entertainment on Saturday evening, and joined in with the karaoke. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The drinks are a really reasonable price. We didn't eat here as we were out and about exploring but we saw the Sunday carvery and it looked and smelt amazing! The rooms are really clean and spacious. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower was awesome too. I have nothing negative to say whatsoever! I'm still amazed at the value for money. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach (if that). It was a shame that they don't do breakfast, but there are lots of places with a few minutes walk to get something to set you up for the day. We are already planning our return visit. There is lots to do locally and the buses are super regular to Ingoldmells and Skegness.

The hotel is the upper floor of a pub and first impressions of the room was very good, newly appointed and tastefully decorated. Spacious, enough storage (for a short break) with a nice ensuite with walk in shower cubicle. However, we quickly discovered there were issues. The shower didn?t drain away so quickly overflowed the shower base, all over the floor. We had to use our towels to mop up. The toilet seat was not secured properly (and consequently tipped you off!). We reported these issues straight away, also requesting replacement towels and were assured they would be dealt with as we went about our day. There is no breakfast facility at the hotel but you can buy breakfast downstairs in the bar (only Saturday and Sunday), however there was no service on Sunday as the cook was ill. On returning to our room we discovered that none of the issues had been addressed, nor had there been any room service, no replacement towels (ours were still in situ beneath the shower tray), neither had the tea/coffee or toilet rolls been replaced. My husband again went down to the bar to find someone to report it to and was given fresh towels and a toilet roll. In order to use the shower again we had to remove the shower trap cover which slightly improved the drainage but sadly, no repair was attempted for either the toilet seat or the shower throughout our stay. N.B. There is no WI-FI in the building (bar or hotel).I would consider this a mid price hotel (we paid £280 for 3 days) and at first glance the rooms appeared to fall into that category but the facilities and service definitely gave us the feeling of a budget hotel.
