The staff had an ?expensive? picture leaning up against a swivel cuddle chair, on the opposite side so you couldn?t see them. As I walked past the chair it moved (obviously I grazed the chair but I didn?t touch it intentionally, and it is a MOVING chair) and the picture, plus three others that were stacked behind it fell onto the floor. The two shop clerks were trying to make me pay £100 for the broken picture frame, to which the female replied with ?if you don?t pay for it I?ll have to?She then called her boss and told him what had happened, but left out the fact they left these pictures just leaning against a moving item of furniture, so he also insisted I pay for it too. Eventually to shut the extremely rude man and fairly kind woman up, I paid, they then proceeded to wrap the picture (along with all broken glass) in a PLASTIC bag and let us take it with us. Trading standards will be informed of this.
