The Owner/Server is the most rudest we have come across - Hence ONE Star ratings & that?s for items we purchased !!!Only thing I can say is that the BREAKABLE items I bought for well over £20+ - he had NO bubble wrap or plain tissue paper to wrap them ? when I asked for some his reply was a simple?We haven?t got any? - no ?oh let me look out the back for something? which you would expect nope !!I pointed out newspaper he had - his reply ?We?ll if you want to get print all over your purchases ???NO I didn?t - I just wanted something to wrap them in ?He went on ?Bloody tourists that come to Skegness !!!?We?ll excuse me Sir, but it?s us tourists that help you & your economy !We had spent loads on Cafes all way up & down the High Street, cos I am disabled & can?t walk far ?His other reply was ?Well don?t buy them them !!?Sorry sir, if I had seen them elsewhere for sale, I wouldn?t have bought from yourself ? I would have got my husband to go to any other shop we?d seen them in ?. But we hadn?t, hence I was standing (with difficulty) wanting to purchase my items, but as breakable - surely it?s not much to ask !His parting shot was ?Don?t Break them !!?Yes I got cross too - who wouldn?t have ? he was lucky it was me buying - not my hubby !!If you are selling Breakables ? keep the bubble wrap these items come to you in ! Not hard ?!Even wen we do a car boot - we have kept bubble wrap for folk if it?s something breakable from us?. EASY !!We will be informing folk we know coming to SkegVagas, & there?s a lot that do !!! We will NOT be returning to this shop ? sad as he has some nice items ? I?d rather give our grandkids money next time. !Thankfully once outside I had pocket tissues in my bag as hubby did - we used these to wrap the items up in as thankfully they were expensive but small items ? easy mate ? you might try it for folk buying your ?Breakable? merchandise !!One Very Unhappy Customer

Well, I think Spalls must be doing something right, when all around them shops are closing, the shop has been there, well stocked, pleasant staff forever in my life! We always pop in when in Skeg, Keep up the good work

Really interesting shop with lots of random items, especially personalized items (mother, daughter etc)Nice friendly staff too.Always pop in when we're in Skegness.

disgraceful customer service.ordered a plush online at the end of November, heard nothing. after 2 weeks i emailed again, still nothing. emailed again and finally got a rude response saying that they were out of stock of the item (although it was still available for purchase on their website), they blamed me for the delay saying they had tried to get in contact but when asked for proof of these emails no reply. no apology, no offer of an alternative. horrible experience

I remember Spalls from my childhood when I came on holidays from Leicester. I now live in Wainfleet. It has never changed it has so many lovely things. One downside for me are the lifelike dolls in the window, I find them a little disturbing.
