On my last visit, paying in coins and notes I found some of the counter staff can be a little abrupt, as I hadn't organised the money to their convenience. This is NOT good customer service!

I went to the branch with my husband to dispute Mcdonald transaction... Well I have never expected such a poor customer service... sarcastic and disrespectful comments and open discussion about our case behind the counter, in front of other customers. Lady behind the counter has explained to us that my husband should be blame for the situation as he accepts charge of £97, while should be paying £9.70, put his pin and she is unable to help... I have been in many branches around England and I must say that I have never come across such a poor customer service, she should be working in place where no people skills are required

Always friendly staff but the bank provides one person on the counter who has to deal with all types of often complex time consuming requests from customers so waiting times can be 20mins +

Travelled 19 miles, to my nearest branch, after checking opening times. Only to find it is "open" until 4.30 but counter shuts at 2. So can't pay cash in. It is ridiculous

Went into the bank 10/2/21 the woman on the floor has poor and I mean very poor attitude, she needs to improve her attitude and the way she spoke towards customers. I will be making a complaint against this worker.

I went in to get some dollars to pay for a Visa. The clerk at the counter was not interested. She didn't even look up, she just said "I'm busy, join the queue" I replied that "I am the queue !" but she just blanked me a continued what she was doing. There was another person behind the counter rummaging around at something but he studiously ignored me. Another person - very young was just sort of "flouncing" around with an air of 'I've got a clipboard, so I'm important' but he ignored me too. Eventually, ( there were no other customers in ) Mr. Clipboard asked if he could help. I informed him that I wanted 50 USD to get a Visa. He asked 'Mr. Rummage' if he could deal with that and 'Mr. Rumage', without really looking up said "We can't as Travellex are offline. I said "Surely, you must keep 50 dollars in stock?" But he repeated about Travellex. I pointed out that Travellex themselves are still working and doing everything on paper but he just shrugged and said he " Couldn't help" and continued to do what he was doing and went back to ignoring me. Mr. Clipboard just smiled inanely and shrugged too. No wonder people don't bother with branches anymore and they go out of business. These employees ( they couldn't be remotely described as customer service staff ) deserve nothing better than the branch to close and for them to be out of work.

I was refused to pay cash into the companies charity account. Ridiculous. Jobs worth on the counter. Never had an issue with it. Raising 1 million pounds for children with cancer. clerk not interested for a £90 deposit. I am depositing CASH!!!! Disgraceful!!!

Utterly terrible customer service ,every time i go into in barclays there is a massive queue with one cashier working.
Today as usual queued behind one person sorting a lost card at the counter for 15 minutes whilst four other staff stood doing nothing with tablets in hand.
Would it be asking to much for one of the other staff just to come over and help.
Obviously just trying to get us to use the machines but I couldn't do my transaction on a machine.
If I ran my business like that my customers would go elsewhere and I would go bankrupt.
Absolutely disgusting lack of professionalism.
Would leave minus stars if possible
