“Easy store to get around & if you require a wheelchair (like me) the isles are quite wide, with plenty of parking out in the front of the store & with disabled bays, again it's what I would call a cheaper sort of store, I usually go in regularly as it always stocks a few things in there, that I buy often, most of the staff are happy to help & are friendly.”

“I only shop here if I'm in Ashby. Very similar to Lidl where I usually shop. I prefer the new layout but I do wish that they would provide their staff with step ladders. They still stand on the bottom shelf of the fridges to teach the top shelf not very hygienic!”
“Very competitive prices, unfortunately certain items were out of stock ( some for a 2nd time) which is a bit annoying. A surprise bonus of 10% discount, as I'm a Pensioner, glady accepted.”
“Iceland in the foundry is my main shop.. Staff are fantastic, when my dad goes alone they go above to help him do his shopping. Deliver guys are all friendly n helpful”

“Went in primarily to collect an Argos order but then shopped for top up food. Nectar Price offers are very good and I often use these to stock up both freezers and cupboards. The only supermarket that always has more than one manned checkout open, if needed. As someone who mobility issues, this is excellent and the main reason I shop here.”

“It's a good Aldi un scunthorpe but not the best, the one at the football ground is the best as they have everything in all the time. This on on Glebe road doesn't get curtain things other aldi has in store or is sold out like the big packs of chicken or dogfoods. I'm closer to this Aldi but I'd rather travel further to make sure I get all my shopping I need. Staff are great and helpful and everything else is perfectly set out.”

“My mum had to ask a couple of the staff, regarding finding something, and both of the ladies were more than helpful, one lady even got on her knees in the cereal aisle, bless her.
My only gripe, is there aren't enough pedestrian walkways in the carpark, it was really busy today (17/11/24)”

“Visited Sat 6th April at lunchtime. We were concerned about a shortage of a certain prescribed medication. The pharmacist on duty explained the shortage and offered us an alternative. He made up the prescription as we shopped. Friendly and knowledgeable. Please pass on our thanks.”

“Yesterday I went into Tesco to have some photos printed off my mobile phone. Unfortunately I had no idea how to do this so I asked an assistant if she could help me. Her name was Debbie (from the Customer Service desk) and she was amazing. She told me that they had had technical problems recently and unfortunately, as hard as she tried, she couldn't get the phone to connect with the printer. But she tried everything to get it to work and her patience impressed me. Another assistant from the Timpson counter, Nathan, also tried to help and I must say that they both tried hard to get me my photos but it just wouldn't work. But I want to say a huge Thank You to them both and to say you are an asset to Tesco and to Timpson's.”

“So the guy who was on the till was all by himself due to shortage of staff, he was amazing couldnt fault him, felt so sorry for him! He was running round like a mad man trying to keep up with everything & everyone’s orders & not even once did he snap or seem stressed! It ruined my experience as my need to help him kicked in & I had to offer to help tidy the tables! Poor guy deserves a pay rise or Morrisons need to sort their staffing out!!”
“Easy to find most of the items, incase if you cannot find the item ask help from any of the staff, they are very helpful. Even at the exit counter the staff are quite helpful with any of scanning issues.If you are purchasing more than 10 items its better to register a scanner and take it with you.”

“Small but well stocked store. However, the five stars are exclusively for the lovely lady at the self help checkout who assisted me with my George collection. She was so cheerful and kind, and such a lovely attitude should be acknowledged! All other staff were very kind too. A lovely experience.”
