“It was after 6pm on a Saturday evening, 2nd of January 2021, I had been looking for an open post office anywhere and everywhere for 3 hours, as I was late with an important eBay delivery. I finally found this one, it is a general newsagents with store and a small post office counter next to the cash register. This was the only one that was open, when I arrived they supplied and registered on the system an Internationally Tracked service to USA. Helpful, polite and humorous staff, they told me, "if the shop is open then the post office is open".In my eyes, this makes it an essential service - an out of hours Royal Mail post office - it is excellent, I wish i had found it earlier. Hopefully this review will help other people find this service quicker.”

“A good little post office which is a vital part of the local community. Sells a little stationary as well as greetings cards and provides all the usual post office services. it does get busy at times, generally in the morning but the staff are pretty efficient and clear the backlog relatively quickly.”

“Was looking for a new place to eat and tried the Arc Cafe within The Arc at Westcliff shops, was impressed with the service and the food was good and reasonably priced, toilets were clean and well kept and cafe was inviting and warm, with the post office in there too it's a bonus, would highly recommend”

“There are very few post offices in the country which offer the level of quality of envelopes that the residents of DN16 are privileged to have. Not only do they have a window for the recipient's address to show through, but they come supplied with the finest quality adhesive to ensure that no correspondence shall vanish from this receptacle. Most importantly these envelopes are crisp white. Whiter than a Lenor advert with towels blowing in the wind in the middle of a winter's day at the Swiss Alps. Whiter than a glass of fresh milk rested on minimalist Ikea kitchen worktop as it is about to be picked up by a polar bear wearing aforementioned Lenor towel. Did I mention these envelopes were white?”

“This in not just a Post Office. There is also a Subway (no seating) and a newsagent / corner shop. The staff in all areas are helpful and friendly. One thing to note is that collection from the Post Box is 17:30.”
