Some random prices for food these days, £10:08 for the scampi, chips and peas plus soft drink. Very tight with the chips, for that price I'd have expected another half helping of chips at least. Very busy pub, half past six on a Friday evening and we were hard pressed to find seating.

Went in on a friday night, not busy but busy enough too give a nice atmosphere. Served well and promptly, pub was clean and tidy. Great drinks at a great price, didnt eat but have enjoyed food in spoons before. Looking forward to next visit soon.

Very rude staff especially the old lady (was told her name is Kath) and deputy manager in charge today 04/11/23 who said his name was Phil. When they have staff on they cannot be bothered to keep the place clean. Dirty tables. Dirty cutlery. Dirty carpet. I caught Norovirus from their earlier this year. I cannot prove it but I deduced it was from here as I was the only one who ate the breakfast and my partner didn't and he wasn't ill and it was the only thing I ate all day. I would have given minus 1 but unfortunately Google doesn't allow it.
