Called in on weekday lunch time. Difficult to get a table, carvery was substantial and good value. Large car park but be sure to log your registration number on the screen at the bar or you may be liable to a fine.

Karen the manager was amazing. Friendly welcoming amazing service. Food was great. Karen did quite a few check backs and went above and beyond as we were sat in the garden so the kids could play. Thank you Rob

Walked in not greeted with good morning, straight away have you a reservation. No we hadn't as was just passing and thought have a treat. Her reply was all our tables are reserved but if you can be finished in an hour I can let you sit. Found that really rude to be honest but we were all hungry. Went to the bar to as told to even though there was a app to order from table for ignored no one serving for at least 5 minutes, no sorry to keep you waiting. Food was average but expensive the gammon was very fatty and the roast potatoes were like bullets the Brussels were over cooked with stalls on them, the Yorkshire was cold cauliflower had a funny taste. We spent around £65 Found service rude and food nothing special. Toilets were dirty with dirty finger marks on all the doors . Overall would go again , wouldn't recommend.

If there had been 4.8 I would have given it. Only lost 0.2 due to a couple of the items on the carvery not being piping hot. Food good, service good.

Lovely meal...we had a dog and my elderly mum so we had to sit in the bar area ( this was not a problem), however all the tables /chairs were quite high which was very difficult for my 92yr old mum to sit on safely. Please can a couple of lower (normal) size tables be available. Otherwise this was a lovely experience .

Had another great carvery here and asked for a take out box so I could take some of the gammon fat home and they said yes thanks for a good evening see you again soon
