on visiting for Sunday lunch we had an excellent meal here. we were very pleased to have several vegan / vegetarian0 options for sunday lunch. Our food was cooked beautifully and thoroughly enjoyed. staff were very attentive, ensuring that our dietary needs were met. I can throughly recommend the New Inn.

Food was absolutely delicious & service was exemplary (Sophie is a hunny & an asset) venue was pretty special too - this was Rachel & Dales first night of service & it was already smooth & professional. The place was busy & all 3 people in our party enjoyed every mouthful (including 1 vegetarian), I'll be back agin soon...!

Tried to visit today with my disabled partner after seeing open up to 11pm. Came on the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway cost us £16, only to find you closed? Other passengers also disappointed trying to do the same and cars trying to pull in and having to drive away.

My husband and myself came for a meal to celebrate my birthday. Now I have positive and negative thoughts I had the prawn cocktail starter with a granary bread roll, lettuce and a spoon of prawn. Very underwhelming to be honest. Hubby had fishcakes, said they were ok but again presentation not good. My main was the fillet steak(blue) was cooked to perfection. Hubby had haddock (small) but perfect sized portion. I did ask for the dessert menu but after waiting 10 minutes no one brought it!
The place is beautiful but a lack of communication meant waiter/ess were bouncing from tables. Designating tables to each waiter/ess with one floating would resolve this. Would come back but hope it was teething problem and hopefully improve

Booked sunday lunch for today 23rd June 2024 and from the moment we walked in we were treated with respect and kindness ? our main waitress for our stay couldnt have been more polite and helpful nothing was to much trouble?we all four of us had starter main and dessert and each course came out beautifully presented and plentiful?praise to the chef ive never had such a wonderful tasteful sunday lunch?the surroundings were calm and relaxing and thankfully cool on a very hot day We will definitely recommend the restaurant and will be back again.xx
