What a great asset this local company is. Having previously been delighted with Crowther's work on a couple of upholstery jobs, I contacted them to see if they could rectify a damaged oak coffee table (hot tea spillage). Within an hour of delivery their craftsman had restored it as new. Such a professional and helpful team, thank you, my husband is now out of the doghouse!

I asked Crowther and Sons for an estimate, which was sent very promptly. It wasn?t the cheapest estimate of the 3 requested, but it was the most detailed and a follow-up question was answered very quickly. The work was completed much sooner than expected, and the result is an absolute delight - excellent workmanship. I thoroughly recommend this business, and would not hesitate to use them again.

Crowthers have recently transformed our granddaughters bedroom. They took a great deal of time and trouble to help us match all of the fabrics and colours. Edward and his team made us a beautiful bespoke bedspread and curtains, and recovered our headboard. Their attention to detail and willingness to help sets them apart.

I am absolutely delighted with the reupholstered Ercol sofa, chairs and footstools. They were fantastic helping with fabric options and suggestions for contrast piping etc. I was amazed at the transformation of the furniture. It now looks very modern . I would recommend them for the quality of the workmanship, the friendly, helpful staff and the sheer delight of rescuing some tired furniture instead of just buying a new suite.

My sofas that I had shipped over from South Africa 16 years ago were looking tired, but the base was still in excellent condition, so we decided to have them upholstered. I searched the web, and found Crowther and Sons, man am I glad I used them. My sofas look brand new, their craftsmanship is second to none, I love, love my new sofas. Their service was professional and prompt. Thank you, Edward and the lads Dave and Jason for carrying them in, as I know how heavy they are, definitely more than five stars.
