Been twice now for a meal. Both times the food was excellent! First was a prawn curry of the day, second was superbly done pan fried sea bass.
It might take some time to build up a regular customer base in order to get the atmosphere again. The Everard?s pint of ?Original? is now my favourite once again after having been off limits previously!!

Stopping in the area with friends & we decided to eat out.
The pub exterior has a welcoming appeal & that is replicated once inside.
The waitress was very attentive to us all & made us feel like valued customers.
The food was homemade & extremely delicious. We didn't have a long wait between ordering & receiving. Will definitely be going again before we leave.

Very disappointed, no atmosphere, Book a table for 7pm, ordered duck, over cooked and very salty and more like a starter in size, sorry but we not be returning.

Went in for the Friday night special, cod, chips and peas £15 for the 2 of us. We hadn't booked but although busy we were seated and served straight away. Absolutely beautiful such good value lovely light and crisp batter, we will be back.

Well what a disappointing Sunday dinner twice we have been there the first time I got 3 slices of roast pork that was paper thin and tasteless obviously bought from a supermarket in a packet then today I had beef 2 slices looking around at other people having beef all the slices were the same size, when I cook a joint no way can I cut slices the same size so they were also from a supermarket, they do not cook joints and they charge £14 50so not cheap, well with Christmas coming up do you think they will roast a turkey no they will buy turkey slices from supermarket and reheat it, I will not be going back.

I lived in Market Deeping for 15yrs and this was my local before I moved to Brisbane. I still have fond memories of all the time and beer I drank here, Everads Old Original being fantastic. I did most of my business as a Chartered Surveyor in the Bull and Burt was a great landlord. Has now been refurbished and still good, but lost some of the old world charm.
