We have been using Linfords now for some time, tonight we went to get food from them and can truthfully say we will not be going back again. The portion of fish and chips we had was small(and I do mean tiny) and not the regular we ordered. The peas tasted awful, I tried to order bread rolls but was told they didn't have any. I had a cheese burger and it was bland and tasteless, I couldn't taste the cheese at all. The burger seemed like an wholesalers special and the bread roll was dry and seemed as if it had been frozen and then defrosted. Linfords you have hit rock bottom with us and we won't be back.

Just spent £39 on haddock and chips x2 2 gherkins 2 bread rolls and curry sauce.what a dissapointment. Old fish, dry, hardly any chips that were not fresh. My cats had the fish. Came here a year ago and it was lovely. Sadly I will not be back. I think it was the worst fish and chips I had in a long time. There is no excuse!!!!!!!

A group of 12 of us met for supper. The menu was good with a variety of choices. I chose the Cajun oven baked haddock which was very tasty. They serve a lighter portion of chips to avoid waste but you can request a larger portion if wanted. They also have a dessert menu of sponge puddings, apple pie or ice cream. They are also licensed. The service was excellent and the staff very efficient and polite. I would recommend a visit.

We stopped in Market Deeping on our travels and had the best cod & chips ever! Delicious fresh fish & crunchy chips served with salt & vinegar (lemon slice if you wanted). Wooden forks & serviettes. One regular portion satisfied us both. Definitely recommend

I understand that fish is expensive for regular fish over 10 pounds. I get it but the size that I got was unacceptable. ?

We used the takeaway, i was expecting something a little better. The food was yummy, the only reason for 4* was the chips let them down this time. They were cooking with new potatoes and were what i would call "whissened", (the look of the chip looked like it had had all the air sucked out of it). This is not the fault of the fryer but due to the amount of water evaporating from the chip as it cooks. I was also a bit concerned as to the colour of the chips, very yellow, I'd be interested to know what variety they used (or if it was something to do with their preparation).

Great cod and chips on day of our visit as we passed through Market Deeping. But better still, the whole look of the Chippy is so traditional old style. Plus the town well worth a walk around as it's very smart.
