Lovely place to settle with the beach and cafe all in easy reach.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy enough to get to from the small car park nearby though parking is a big issue during peak times. Quite a walk to the toilets and these need 50p to get in. Not the Shacks issue though so still a good choice.

Had a brilliant day up here with the children and grandchildren for a Birthday Beach Day!
Hired a couple of beach huts for the day too, (from Snack Shack) to give privacy for the little ones changing, and to give us adults a kettle for cuppas etc.
Really friendly and welcoming staff/owners. The food is delicious and everything is cooked to order, so no dodgy cold chips or dried out sausages ? They'll deliver it to your hut or even onto the beach if that's where you're sat. There is plenty of outside seating, bits and bobs to buy for the kiddies to play on the sand with - kites, buckets, spades, etc. You can hire deckchairs and windbreakers for a really small fee. There are football goals out for the kids to mingle and play about with, or take your own and do what you feel like.

Such an accommodating, friendly run cafe with great food, great view and lovely atmosphere. Can?t recommend this place enough? we went twice in two days as such good service. 5 stars!!

Had a walk on the beach and popped in for a coffee and cheese n ham toasties. I must say they were the best toasties I've had for a while. Thick bread and generous filling. Would definitely recommend. Also having looked at the menu the choices are great something for everyone.

Great little snack spot. Hot food prepared fresh while you wait. I visited during a beach race event this little gem wasn't too busy so got nice food quite quickly. Great prices too.

We're always greeted with a cheery hello or good morning when we arrive.Yesterday for a change we fancied a bacon and mushroom roll each with a latte. The breakfast arrived cooked perfectly and the latte was piping hot. The Snack Shack never late us down and is our breakfast café of choice on every visit to Mablethorpe.Thank You

It's really the beach chalet (and Mablethorpe itself) we are reviewing, which was great. Bobby is very accommodating, hours are flexible (no overnighting though!) and friendly. I saw one of last years's reviews said the one they used needed updating;he is in the process of doing this now and some of them are really lovely - come next year and see! The only downside is no toilets very near (about a 5 - 10 minute walk?) and you have to pay 40p, but that's nothing to do with the beach huts! This end of the beach is a little quieter than the Central Promenade (the "Kiss-me-quick end" as we call it, where all the amusements, rides and other snack bars are) which is lovely. Mablethorpe is the most dog-friendly town I have ever visited and also good for disabled people in wheelchairs or on scooters. I have been working here looking after an elderly lady and liked it enough to come back with my partner for an overnight stay and day hire of a beach hut as we live only an hour's drive away. Probably not much going on for teenagers/young adults, especially out of season, but if you like sitting watching the sea, walking on the beach, walking in the sand dunes, it's perfect!
