Having just read the last review I felt I had to say something. This cafe is always welcoming and extremely good value for money. I have never had a 'cold' coffee served to me. My husband has to be gluten free and they always accommodate him.
The staff are excellent and tables are speedily cleared and cleaned after a customer leaves.
I wonder if the local guide who left the last review was in a different cafe ????

Awful high handed service and hugely overpriced. Tip, in the English Language,if you have not heard what someone has said, you say 'pardon' not ' that's alright.'Complete dishonesty and arrogance.

Worst service I've ever had. Main course hugely overpriced. Supposed to be waiter service but virtually non existent. Cold coffee which they begrudgingly served me with fake milk. Arrogant service, telling me,'its alright' when saying they didn't hear what I said. Very unscrupulous place. I would not waste my time or money. They wouldn't answer the phone when I called,so bad review it is. Avoid.

Unfortunately we ordered a salmon and cream cheese baguette with watercress. The baguette was small , extremely dry and with about 1 cm of watercress! I did comment to waitress who just said oh its a 1 off then!!! When i left cafe I did notice lots of half eaten baguettes. I won't be going back

This is a nice cafe which is popular with the locals. It looked like a well run establishment and service levels were very good. We were unlucky with the food choice. The salad was really fresh and very nice and so was the jacket potato. Unfortunately the chilli was awful and looked and tasted like it was out of a tin. The prices were fair for the menu and from what we saw arriving at people's tables it looked fine.

Been coming to Louth for many years about once a month. Tina's was always the go to cafe, sadly of late standards have slipped badly, quality of food has really dropped off, now very bland, with little thought to presentation. Ladies toilets used by my wife were disgusting today, one WC blocked and lack of toilet paper in the other cubicle, sadly the whole experience was poor and we shall find somewhere else
