Friendly staff, good deals and prices particularly with superdrug beauty card, clean shop

Sammie is always so helpful and friendly I regularly visit this Superdrug to purchase items I regularly use. Today I have been in as I am after a couple of new perfumes and Sammie was very efficient and talked me through the different ones they had and I have come away with a couple of paper samples with different smells I liked and I will be returning to make the purchase. This super drug is lucky to have a Sammie so helpful ?

Went in the Louth Lincolnshire store today and the assistant in there was not customer friendly. The assistant was replenishing the shelves and the item I needed was in a basket (hold box) awaiting to be put on the shelf. I asked politely if she could help by picking it out to save her from putting it on the shelf to which she rudely replied 'you'll have to wait'. Very disappointed in her manner and will not be returning to this store again.

The staff are EXTREMELY helpful. In Particular Yvonne.who will.always help you.if you cannot find anything. Zoe who is on the checkouts - extremely polite and very sweet. Sammy extremely helpful when I wanted advice on Shampoos. But the Manager who I believe is called Laura is extremely unpleasant. On one occasion when I visited she belittled the staff in front of Customers. If you ask.her where something is she snaps at you. I would suggest that Management look.at sending her on a Customer Service Course. Promote Yvonne to Manager! Five staff review is for the staff! Manager is worth Zero!

Great care is needed here.You often don't get the offer shown on the shelf (such as "buy 2 get 1 free") unless you point it out.On other occasions, you'll be charged more than the price shown. Probably 90% of people won't notice, of course and they know it. The other 10% can be refunded and most of them will think "mistakes happen, don't they?". Except it's not a mistake, it's happened multiple times to me and to people I know. At least one other company operates the same trick.Another trick is to have an offer on the shelf which doesn't state that you only get it if you're a member of their loyalty program!They know fully well what they're doing. They don't care that many people are struggling to make ends meet.Better to shop online or at Boots/Wilko or online.

It cannot be too difficult to respond with politeness and possibly a smile when asked a simple question about the location of a product. Lady stacking the shelf just now - it's basic good manners!!!

I parked outside while my daughter went in and bought both hair bleach and red dye. She was happy so I am too. Ages ago I stocked up on Unity by Lynx at this Superdrug and I still have lots left to use. I am glad I did that because you cant buy it any more and that makes me sad cos it smells nice. Afterwards I went home and fed the bearded dragon, here he is saying thank you for his tea with a load of tomato round his chops. If he shopped for beauty products I bet he would go to Superdrug because its affordable, and he likely wouldn't have a very well paid job because he cant even eat without making a mess, so he would need to make best use of their low low prices.
