Went in this afternoon and they were shutting us in at 4:30pm. Very awkward as Google says open till 5, so did their sign on the window and they didn?t have anything up to say they were closing early. They put a wet floor sign in the men?s section and told my parter they shouldn?t have gone passed it even though we weren?t to know as they never said. They finally said we?re closing up so didn?t get to full browse. Felt rushed and people breathing down our necks. They explained they?re closing as one member of staff had a course to complete, but why couldn?t the other member keep the shop open? Strange.
Last time I went, we had our dog so I asked if it was dog friendly. They asked what dog and said no. After my partner waiting outside with our springer spaniel I watched an older person bring two dogs in which annoyed me as the staff didn?t say a word to them. Used to love this charity shop it?s a shame the last two times I?ve been in it has been a bad experience.

4.8 stars? Definitely not! 5 stars for this charming charity shop. They've certainly got it right their prices are cheap. Some other charity shops put ridiculously high prices on their items, then when it doesn't sell after a set amount of time they send it off to the rag man or the recyclers, Who pay less than a pound sterling for a kilo weight. Of course with such a abundance of donations often as not it is quicker and easier for certain charity shops to do this. Sue Ryder in Louth set a fine example of what a charity shop should be. They get their stock for nowt sell it off for a decent price and by doing this they are getting more donations out of the donation bags and onto the shelves, instead of just sitting there because they have too much of the stuff and the shop floor hasn't shift anything because it is too darn expensive(for a charity shop)! Anyway go there and have a look for yourselves and if you can't find anything then you are always welcome by the lovely staff to come back and visit again.

I love it here! Really large charity shop with lots of new stock all for a pound! Lovely staff too! Realised today my entire outfit consisting of jeans, blouse, boots and coat came to the grand total of £4. I feel very smart too! Thanks

Always worth a rummage and when you find your gem, it's only £1! They also have a boutique in the back for the slightly better clothing, but it's still ridiculously reasonable. I usually pop in once a week, as they are always getting new bits in. Friendly staff to top it off.

I don't come to Louth often but when I do, I always pop into Sue Ryder. Not only does it have great deals, the staff are always lovely and willing to help! I cannot fault the effort of their lovely (and handsome) volunteer Marcus, who spent lots of time helping me find some things for my Irish dancing costume!

An amazingly dedicated and friendly team who put their all into trying to raise funds for the charity. Always happy to help and go above and beyond to make the shop what it is.
