TRAINING ISSUE (?)Co-op 155 Newmarket, Louth, LN11 9EH.28/05/2023 10:48hrs ?Op 9209 Till 2? Customer Member Card ***************8828Somewhat disconcerting experience in Co-op Newmarket Store Louth when my debit card was ?Declined? on-screen essentially before I?d even presented it (!).I am disabled and have experienced comparable treatment in other stores to the point were I no longer bother with ?contactless? and default ?PIN? entry instead.I do this to avoid the annoyance I feel when perceived prejudice / discrimination on the part of store employees appears to be inappropriately/ maliciously employed to inconvenience/humiliate me etc.If 'The Co-op' really feels it is advisable to grant employees the facility to morally judge people in front of other customers who they feel might potentially be criminal ? and personally I believe it will prove to be a recipe for disaster in the long run- you should at least train them to do so professionally and appropriately.Date of experience: 28 May 2023

Very rude staff member .Went there today to buy some items and a young girl member of staff accused me of jumping the queue i had witnesses other customers who declared i had not done so. No apology given to me by this surley staff member I will be probably writing to the Co op head office to report this young madam.

Went in this lunch time and was spoken to very rudely by a member of staff. I simply asked for a basket because there wasn't any out and I was told to stand in the corner out of the way while she got some. I was shocked.
