Had an awful experience with the pharmacy getting my birth control, i have been on the same pill for years and just needed a 6 month repeat.
When i went in to get my pill after calling prior, the lady at the counter was beyond rude tutting and sighing at me as i ?don?t have a prescription? i explained i came here 6 months ago for a repeat and have never needed to show prescription she told me i had to call 111 instead and refused the pill to me made it very uncomfortable. Came in the next day after calling 111 and then explaining i shouldn?t have needed to call them and that they were sorry this happened, she sent them a referral. I then spent over an hour in with the actual pharmacist who had not a clue on what she was doing even suggesting you could get pregnant instead, and her asking me what she needs to check medically also acting like me being there was tiring for her. Instead of giving me my 6 month supply she said she couldn?t find me on their system so instead she?s going to suggest i just ?started? the pill and can only give me 3 months. i said i should be on the system and that for years i have been given 6 months worth. After an hour then came out and a different lady on the desk then found me on the system after all that and that i could have just got a repeat 6 months without calling 111 or coming back the next day or anything. The pharmacist just said well at least you got 3 months and that she?d already printed it out she didn?t want to change it. She then told me not to call 111 about it when i run out, i explained i didnt want to call them but your colleague told me that was apparently the only way yesterday, there were no apologies from either of them and was made to leave with the 3 months worth. Very horrible experience especially regarding a topic like birth control and sexual health - as a 20 year old girl was made to feel almost dirty for using it and like i was inconveniencing them. Had this potentially been an even younger girl could have been a very upsetting and discouraging experience for them.
Do not recommend this pharmacy at all very very rude and unprofessional staff. Very unhelpful and waste of time experience.

Rude unhelpful patronising towards older people , endless waiting to be served at the pharmacy, no different to anywhere else these days

As a pensioner with gout and arthritis I cannot stand in their everlasting queues. But if I explain and sit most are obliging except staff at counter who made a show of questioning if I had pushed in!!. No consideration gir disabled customers. Always takes over a week to fulfill a prescription. Slow pharmacy counter service, only ever one person attends to a everlasting queue eventhough they have staff standing around who could help at the other window and ease the queue. Too much staff chatting and not enough customer service. Sadley their other store is the same. Boots used to be considered the best..how they have declined

Awfully slow service !!!Half an hour just to show my prescription and then it was their lunch break and I had to go back and wait another half hourI don?t know how people are getting paid to work that slow, unbelievable!!1 star it?s a compliment

Service has declined sharply over last few months. Scripts not ready on time, texts not sent every month as before. Last month had to return 3 times to pick up my meds. Phone now isn?t answered at all. There must be some serious issues in this pharmacy but will not be using again unfortunately as often have to go days without medication.

Very very slow took over a week to fulfill my prescription. Chemist staff seem more interested in taking there breaks and chatting than the needs of the ever growing queue of customers.

Not a good experience at all. Waited half an hour to have a prescription signed off, which they said would be 5 mins. Other people getting theirs before me. Asked again if it was ready only for the assistant to get it from the shelf where waiting collections are!!? So it was there all the time!! Also, while I was waiting, I witnessed other people walk out as the only person serving was filling shelves .
