Thank you so much to the The Unicorn diner for being so accommodating for us today with our young granddaughter who has several allergies. We were made to feel really welcome and our little one loved playing with the duplo and chalkboard. We all had a delicious stress free lunch as they checked all the ingredients for us. We will certainly return.

Booked catering for 20 for our Granddaughter's party. Paid in full at the time of booking and agreed a list of what was being supplied. This was written in their diary on the date booked. We were not offered, or sent a copy of this list. We agreed to pick up food as they couldn't deliver because of other bookings that day. On the day of collection there was no popcorn, bacon turnovers, drinks and the chicken nuggets had been substituted with chicken strips and some strange chicken rings. The guy on the counter said the boss hadn't told him about the missing items hence they weren't there. On returning the 'trays' today the boss was sat outside chatting to someone. 'Everything okay' she asked. Not really I answered and then went on to explain. She admitted the missing items were her fault but then went on to become extremely rude about the fact that we had the 'cheek to complain'. Maybe this boss needs to remember that customers pay her wages! As far as she was concerned we were the problem. She eventually gave us a refund of £10 to get rid of us whilst complaining all the time about how petty we were. My advice would be avoid unless you want to be verbally abused if you dear to complain.

Just had a great breakfast there. Friendly staff, warm welcome and great food. Would definitely recommend it to others

First visit will not be the last. Food excellent , presentation excellent could not fault anything. Very good price have had worse elsewhere and paid a lot , lot more. The chef is a great asset to this diner, I hear Sunday roast is amazing so will be back .

We had a lovely lunch on Saturday, we were late as well at 13.55 but they stayed open for us. Very good value, very friendly, excellent service, definitely go again and recommend

I decided to visit the diner after living in Sutton. Ridge many years and always wanted to. I took my little boy along and we both really enjoyed the breakfast! Great value for money and fantastic service. They even plated a breakfast to take away for my wife who was working from home! Will definitely be going back

This cafe used to be our favourite stopping off point on our way to Suffolk. Stopped today ordered bacon sandwiches. The cheap bread was stale and dry. Served with a side salad? No cutlery or napkins. Had a totally different feel to tge place. Won't be calling again.

I used to like ordering from here, their ribs were amazing! Though the chips always let it down by being overcooked.. Ever since they came off of foodhub and onto their own app/website I am no longer able to order.. Everytime it gets to the awaiting confirmation from restaurant screen they decline it! Ive tried on 5 different occasions and same outcome each time.. I give up with this place, ridiculous!!

If you want someone to mess you around and your food, then this is the right place for you, the owner smells unclean. Not great if she is around food. Last time I'm visiting this place, not genuine at all.
