We found this pub, as we were holidaying in the area, and it was a Thursday Burger and Pint night. Massive portions and cooked beautifully. The salad dressing was to die for and I wish I had asked for the details. So if the chef is reading this please let me know. [email protected]

Arrived on time and ordered a drink, no problems. Sat down in the ‘snug’ with our 3 dogs. Was handed the menu to be told it’s ‘Burger night’ and there is no other option other than a couple of basket meals. Two of us called in last Wednesday Evening (21st June) to book lunch for the following day. We had an evening meal while we were there. The staff were very friendly, the pub was clean and the food was very good quality, very delicious, all homemade. We will definitely go there again when we are down that way.
