Debbie and her staff were amazing. Debbie organized my dad's wake and it was beautiful, with beautiful fresh food from local suppliers that was fresh and tasty. nothing was to much for Debbie, she catered to all our needs. Thank you Debbie for everything.

We held a wake here. On the day everything was fine, room was set up how we wanted it, the buffet was out and replenished, and the staff were all working hard to serve everyone. However, despite having two meetings prior to the event where costs etc were discussed, when we received the bill it was A LOT more than expected, over 25% more. Because we had no idea why it was so high, we asked for it to be itemised, but it was basically made up on a scrap of paper. When the bill was questioned, she was very defensive, called us petty, couldn't really justify why it was so high, and basically implied it didn't matter because we could afford it anyway!!!? One example is we were told room hire was £10 an hour, which is very reasonable, and that was the venue fee. However, after the fact, there were charges for extra staff (when no staff were allocated to the function room specifically), use of the kitchen, and use of BOTH of the bars?! NONE of this was mentioned prior to the event. We got the bill down a bit, but were still definitely taken advantage of.

Thankyou to Debbie and her team ,I had my sons 18th birthday celebrations here on Saturday night. Nothing was to much trouble Debbie went above and beyond to make the venue special with food and decorations and making us all feel welcome. Brilliant night ,couldn't fault it .would highly recommend ?
