Would like to thank a staff member who helped me on Friday night (21st) about 4pm - I think his name was Michael.
I?d went in previously in the week and picked up some stickers I really liked but couldn?t find them on this visit, I described them to him at the till when I was checking out some other items and he went above and beyond and looked through every single section with me for another set of eyes. We didn?t end up finding them unfortunately (I must?ve bought the last ones earlier in the week!) but I was really grateful for the effort and time taken to help.

Not good for accessibility. Need to look at the layout of the store, all the baby and children's books are downstairs but you have no lift for prams to get down there so I wasn't able to make the purchases I wanted.

Used to love it here -
I've been a regular customer for a few years now but I've stopped coming in as much due to one particularly nasty employee, a brunette woman with glasses (I'm not sure what her name is). I struggle alot with social anxiety and all the other staff have been so lovely so this was a safe space for me, but every time I've interacted with her or asked for help it's been sighs, dodgy looks, eye rolls and just a very unwelcoming presence. Such a shame because everyone else clearly works hard and are lovely but it just goes to show how one person can change the environment for everyone ?

It used to be a good place, it as gone down hill in the last year, they don't have much in like they used to. I always used to buy my biography books from there, they don't keep much in stock now. It's many kids and craft stuff.

Very disappointed with my service again. First time I went in before Christmas and was rudely told I wasn?t allowed to buy something without a reason and was appalled at the service I received. Today I decided to go in again out of convenience and again was told I wasn?t allowed to buy something! I was trying to by something with cash. The gentleman in front of me paid in cash. When it was my turn to pay I was rudely told (again, by the same lady that served me last time) that I was unable to pay cash! Was given no explanation and rushed out the store!! Both times there was no reason for my refusal of service and I?ve come away feeling kinda discriminated against !

Till staff, Imogen, handled the massive queue very quickly and with friendly service. No till support seen/ not another member of staff insight, very thankful for Imogen's promptness with our parking expiring!!!

Great place to go when shopping for books and art supplies the only problem is that for most the art supplies you have to be able to go down stairs, sadly nothing they can do just the way the shops laid out

Awful. Never anything of substance. Everything there can be found elsewhere (such as Amazon) at a lower cost and higher quality. Just full of books only an NPC has read, overpriced pieces of plastic and overpriced stationary and arts supplies. Anything here you can get better elsewhere. Avoid at all costs.

Not happy the shop near me has closed down. It was handed as I do not do well with crowds and walking to the one in St Marks was brilliant.
