The outside of the hotel is very deceptive, it doesn't look much at all, but step inside and it has a very good, comfy vibe. The rooms are of very good quality and the beds are comfortable. Highly recommended.

Perfect location for the amazing old town sights of Lincoln. Adequate parking in the area and we were able to get free parking. The rooms were very comfortable. Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. Highly recommend.Rooms: Newly refurbished bathroom, good size room with comfortable bed, arm chair and Tv. A good selection of tea, hot chocolate and coffee with biscuits and toiletries in the bathroom.Nearby activities: Lincoln Castle is across the road, near by is Lincoln Cathedral, Steep hill, Bishops house, restaurants and pubs and the museum of life Lincolnshire. These are all in the cathedral area of the city.Walkability: Easy and short walk to the main sights of Lincoln so for us the perfect locationFood & drinks: Breakfast was lovely. Lots of options including vegetarian and vegan. Dinner was very good too with a small but more than adequate menu.

Didn't stay overnight, had a 3 course evening meal. Stunning food. Service was attentive and the bar a nice place to sit beforehand. Highly recommend.

Had afternoon tea for my leaving do here. 40 of us in total. Food was beautifully presented, only one criticism we only got three little finger sandwiches each, they were delicious but could have eaten more the scotch egg was the best I?ve tasted and everyone said similar. The room was tastefully decorated and the staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had a one night stay at this lovely little hotel and bar. The situation is brilliant, right by the castle walls and close to the top of Steep Hill.Rooms: The room was a good size with a really comfy bed.Walkability: The location is ideal for the castle and the cathedral as well as Steep Hill.

Took family there today for Sunday lunch. We had it in the bar area which is a lovely space. The food was absolutely delicious. Probably the best Sunday lunch I?ve ever had. Friendly service, too. We?ll definitely be back.Food & drinks: Absolutely delicious

Great venue. Nice clean rooms. Bathroom nice and large. Rooms are warm.Rooms: Clean and tidy.Walkability: Within walking distance of castle and cathedral. Near pubs and restaurants.Food & drinks: Food here is of good value and large portions. Breakfast really nice. Staff very helpful and kind.

Hotel was so lovely. Lit up Christmas trees at entrance the decorated beautifully throughout the hotel. Room was gorgeous with a really comfy bed. Full English breakfast was delicious. All staff were so friendly. I will definitely be going back.
