I gave 3:stars because the fish n chips had a greasy after taste, maybe because it said they were cooked in beef dripping,so it said. Definitely not to many taste. You are asked on entry if you require anything cooking, I said small cod. So the service was good. I also found that fish and the chips are sold separately instead of a fish and chips package. Prob get more money doing it this way.
There are plenty options and a dining room.

Amazing food. If you like onion rings these are the real deal. Bit noisy if you go with someone with hearing aids. Lovely friendly staff

This used to be one of the best chip shops around. Unfortunately our last large fish and chips was not the best.
The large haddock was overcooked and tough around the edges, almost a quarter of it was just fried skin. At a smidge under £15 for 1 piece of fish and chips that was fairly unpleasant is disapointing.
There was someone in there at the time complaining about their order that had been delivered and was having to argue with the owner about it
Prob wont risk going here again.
Its a shame as it used to have a great reputation

Excellent chip shop excellent pricing and very helpful staff always satisfied when I go. Food is always piping hot and you don't have to wait very long to be served. They have a very nice restaurant as well and they also do click and collect.

Food was mediocre, not bad but I?ve had better but it wasn?t the food that put me off coming back here, it was the manager / boss and they way he was talking to his staff in front of customers, very unprofessional. I actually felt sorry for them as non of them seemed to be able to do anything right without him being on their case! Awful!
