Excuse the pun but steer clear of Stoneacre Fiat in Lincoln. Here's a garage with 1 focus and 1 focus only SALES! We recently purchased a brand new Fiat 500, the clutch pedal failed within 48hrs. Stoneacre Fiat of Lincoln believes we should pay £144 to investigate the issue. The clutch has now failed on 3 separate occasions and the car has only been on the road for 2 weeks. Putting aside their legal obligation, it's just dangerous to sell a vehicle where this manufacturing fault exists. Do what we failed too! search known problems with Fiat 500, you'll find the "clutch pedal fault" is near the top of the search chart. Needless to say Stoneacre have never heard of the fault and would rather a lengthy legal case than fulfill their legal obligation. We'll keep you posted, in the meantime please heed this warning and find a Fiat dealership that can offer the complete package i.e end to end service, even in the unlikely event a fault should occur on your "brand new" car.12th February update: 6 days to receive a generic response, this should tell you all you need to know about the stoneacre group.
