Coffee is excellent, unfortunately the breakfast was very overpriced and such poor quality. Bacon and sausages very under cooked and so salty it burnt your lips. Beans overcooked to mush, sausage seems to have no meat at all. Served with a large wedge of salad tomato that had possibly glanced at the grill from across the tomato and a mushroom that was drowned in oil. The oddest thing of all had to be the breakfast potatoes. These turned out to be baby new potatoes that were completely unseasoned and either air fried or roasted. Seriously odd thing to serve with a breakfast. Just a little seasoning would have made them a bit more palatable.
Staff were friendly but spent most of the time chatting and complaining about the work took ages to take orders, forgot to bring coffee and had to be reminded. Just seemed generally uninterested in work, like it was getting in the way of their social life.
Would come back for coffee / cake but avoid the cooked breakfast.

We have been here several times and services usually slow but today it was dreadfully slow. The young woman who served us looked very unhappy and never smiled, obviously having a bad day. They did not seem to be particularly busy, but they took a long while to serve everybody and quite a few people were getting annoyed. One poor woman in the corner was completely ignored. The tables are very close together.
We only had scones and coffee. The scones were served hot and we were not asked whether we wanted them hot or cold. They were supposed to be rhubarb and ginger but I think somebody forgot to put the filling in. We had flat latte coffee and it was quite nice but tiny cups.
There appeared to be one girl making the coffee and taking payments and she was struggling so we had to wait. Not a particularly good experience. They do seem to be a bit disorganised this place.

A lovely building, scones ok though expensive. A great place to spend 30 minutes waiting for a cup of tea.

Friend & I met for breakfast this morning, sat at the table & orders being taken all around us, in the end had to ask if they could take our order for breakfast. After the order was given waited almost an hour & while others came in after us ordered breakfast which arrived and was eaten & still no sign of ours, so again asked if they could find out what was happening with ours, waitress went off came back but said nothing so asked her again & reply was that she was busy with other things, waited another ten minutes & then asked the team manager if we could pay for our coffees & that we no longer wanted to wait for the food which nobody could tell us was coming, reply was yes I will sort your bill, paid and left & will not return. Shocking service

We ordered 2 breakfasts 2 teas and a Pepsi. The breakfasts were so disappointing! eggs had crispy brown burn underneath and around the white. The Lincolnshire sausages were so small and slim and a little hard. The mushrooms left a black oily smear on the plate and the tomato was over sized and hardly warm . My saucers was full of tea leaves on arrival and the Pepsi turned up 10 mins later. So we didn't eat much of it and the price was £37

Wonderful, old fashioned Tea Rooms. Building straddles a canal. Historic well worth a visit. Great teas and coffee available to drink and purchase.

Extremely rude, the shop is about to close instead of asking us can you hurry up and leave they started to take away all cups milk they wouldn?t even let me finish my pot of tea

Me and my boyfriend love the vegetarian breakfast and selection of coffee at Stokes on Lincoln High Street. Today we were served by a lady called Lilly who was new to the role. She was friendly, carried out her work with a smile on her face that left us feeling warm and joyful for the rest of the day ?? Would recommend to anyone 10/10 service!

Beautiful outdoor seating, lovely servers. I was served by Mango and his warmth and humour was incredible. Great coffee, amazing location right on the high street overlooking the river!

We stopped by here earlier today. We ordered teas and coffees. We were served by mango who was happy to help and made us feel welcome. We will be back to try the food as promised. Thanks for looking after us all.
